Hey Marty or Chip or whoever you are,
I've asked this before but no one has answered - do you think anyone in the aviation industry is going to hire the East pilots that are about to get furloughed? By now the word is pretty much out on what you guys are trying to do, and if I were on an interview board I wouldn't be hiring anyone that attempts to screw over their fellow coworkers.

Your joking right? Airline interview board with morals?? Back in the late 80's after EAL failed even scabs were getting hired. The airlines don't give a crap.

Yeah - because the off the street newhires and returning furloughs in the last 8 to 6 months (the ones being furloughed now/again) had O so much to do with the USAPA thing. whatever.

Help me out here: Did both parties agree to binding arbitration? Did both parties agree on the arbitrator?

Thanks in advance. TC

I meant when the furloughs go deep enough to involve those who voted for USAPA. In this job market, who would want that stink attached to them?

To be precise, both sides ordered the six eligible arbitrators in order of preference. Nicolau was the third one chosen through a strike-out process. Of course, the Easties were very familiar (and apparantly satisfied) with him since he decided the USAir Shuttle integration in the late '90s. The Easties were also completely satisfied with Nicolau all through the mediation/arbitration hearings. It's only after he presented an opinion they didn't like that he became senile, corrupt, and incompetent. (VBG)

Given their track record, it's obvious the Easties know best. I feel bad for all the HPer's they got stuck with this group to "lead" them.

Your diatribes don't warrant a response but when you spread lies you need to be called on it. Unless, of course, you're referring to Easties being canned?

Like "Speed Racer" who ran his 737 into a ditch at BDL trying to beat an AWA A320 to the gate ? Smooth move.

Well, then, what's their beef? They asked for it. They got it. Now, they don't like it. Grow up. TC

737 Pylt = PFT 128
Both PFT losers

Cut out of the same mold.

Sorry Sparky, no PFT here.

Not one USAIR EAST pilot has ever crossed a picket line. Not one.
Excluding you of course, right?
Then how do you explain your name being on the scab list I possess......

Looking forward to one of 737 pylt losers private messages. I will start posting them because they are entertaining.

Marty
You mean the same ones where you admit crossing the picket lines at Eastern to get hired, only to get fired in the end!:laugh:
Come Marty, you make this much too easy.
I realize facing your 4th furlough has you on edge, but its ok Britney, I'm sure you'll wind up as a Walmart greeter or something better paying than that 190 f/o pay!:laugh:
Good night princess!

He wasn't fired. I flew with him last month after the incident. Sharpest tool in the shed.....not really, but he'll probably keep it out of the weeds from here on.

Just for fun...

AWA = Mesa Grande

Really? (sigh) Wow, that is a really cleaver reply. You must have worked on the intricate details of comparing AWA to Mesa airlines for some time before you were able finally come up with that bit of genius. I'm sure it's given you something to giggled about all afternoon. You should really print it out and show all of your friends. I'm sure they will get quite a chuckle too and be impressed with the high caliber of your postings. :rolleyes:

AWA = Mesa Grande

No, Dude, Mesa Grande was a movie, 1960's, spaghetti western, gunfighters, etc...oh wait, it was Casa Grande...nevermind...have a nice day.

Maybe it's suppose to be "AWA = Macho Grande".

I'll never be over Macho Grande.

I'm not sure why AWA always gets compared to mesa. Yeah there's quite a few guys that came from there but there's also a huge amount that didn't. This is a very diverse group which comes from many different flying backgrounds, both civilian and military. And the west side of the operation actually runs quite well compared with the other hubs (despite the 9am push :nuts: ). I'll include CLT with that statement to be fair. As far as the AWA=scabs cry. Dude, that was eons ago, there's hardly any of those guys around here any more. Let it go already, AWA still goes down in history as one of the safest airlines that ever flew....22 years no accidents, no fatalities.

Get2, you beat me to the punch. Now, let's go out and win one for the Zipper. I guess I picked the wrong decade to give up my old job.

DOH = integrity
Really? Is that according to Marty the USAir pilot, Marty the United pilot hired in 1993, or Marty the United pilot hired in 1994?

USAir was not going out of business. USAir was in better shape then your 1980's startup airline. I had America West Capt. in my new hire class in 1994 and he said that Americas Worst was going to shut down or merged.
Americas Worst is and was a joke. I am just glad you guys merged with AAA. My worst nightmare was when every one speculated United and Americas Worst were going to merge.

Americas Worst=Bottom feeder were the turn over rate was so big, you had classes every week to fill the attrition in the late 90's.

Marty

CAL is getting ready to merge with United. I think their might be furloughs or some stagnation. Where would a 1993 DOH put me at CAL.

Marty

I do not work for USair. Just wanted to point out that USair was not the only one in distress. I thought they were both toast.

That just never gets old. :D

OLD SCHOOL -- who is US Air?

Man you are old school aren't you? US Air died over 3 years ago. The new US Airways was created in May 2005 when America West and our Management Team...

Blah, blah, blah..

US Air "died" in the Wolf era back in 1997 with the advent of the tuxedo paint job and "400 narrowbody airbii" on order.

It would be the Marty who crossed the picket line at Eastern, only to get fired!

Links don't seem to work.

Saturn:
Nice find about MC Scab.......
BTW, his girlfriend Steven, (aka Bdfg1) who claims to be, ehem, retired also has some pretty good hits as well.....
Check them out by clicking on the link! Remember, he claims to have NEVER been a j4j captain and retired shortly after 9/11. Take a look at the dates on his posts! These two make such a great pair!

I was dead set on keeping ALPA on the property. That is until you began to chime in. Thanks for changing my mind and voting ALPA out. You deserve a medal.

Never said I take it for granted. As you pointed out I'm "training PSA pilots since I'm a J4J Capt." Looks like I'm taking advantage of it.

Who cares about these bids? All I know is I'll have a sweet line once I come over via J4J. Don't like it TUFF!
