The funny thing about this whole ordeal is that the real J4J's at PSA really appreciate the opportunity to have a job and support their families. I don't think I have flown with one that I didn't like and have respect for in my time at PSA. In fact, they really helped me out when I first started here and always have given me encouragement and try to put a positive spin on the outlook for my career. Here is the funny thing, I don't really get the feeling that the CEL guys really appreciate the opportunity that they have to gain quality FAR Part 121 PIC time in a turbine aircraft. I know that their welcome at PSA probably hasn't been all that nice, but they should have prepared themselves for that type of treatment and had a better attitude toward their FOs. Bdfg1 states that he is "training PSA pilots since I'm a J4J Capt.". How do you expect to gain the respect and trust of FOs here when you insult them like that. I just let it go and move on, but I must say that I am disappointed in knowing that you have been given an opportunity which you take for granted.

Never said I take it for granted. As you pointed out I'm "training PSA pilots since I'm a J4J Capt." Looks like I'm taking advantage of it.

..Carma is a bi*ch though and it will be enjoyable to watch it come back and bite you.

Now that is some ironic stuff!!! A PSA pilot spouting off about carma concerning the subject of EX pdt pilots getting J4J positions at PSA.

Just in case you still dont get it, remember when the PSA MEC signed off on J4J when at the same time they were pledging loyalty to PDT and ALG?

You are correct it is enjoyable to watch it come back and bite you!!!!

Usually by now Mamba20 chimes in and
tells Bdfg1 to go suck a fat one, I wonder
where he is?

The PSA agreed to the slotting provision, because without it, ALL the CRJ-700 CA slots would have been 100% APL pilots. Go ask the then PSA MEC what actually happened. They actually were looking out for the PSA pilots on that one. Would you rather have a slotted system or NO -700 positions??

I know what actually happened, I was there. The PSA MEC agreed to the slotted provision against the will of a majority of PSA pilots . The vote went against this agreement. So yes most PSA pilots at the time would have preferred NO 700 positions instead of slotting, that was precisely the point I was trying to make.

Fair enough... I don't really know how this exactly went down over there, all I know was slotting was a compromise for flying the 700. That also resulted in a blended pay rate if I'm not mistaken... If the PSA MEC went against the will of the pilots, that isn't right. But they have done that before...
