What was the tail number? Once again you are just talking out of your ignorant, bloated backside. It is clear they were dropping pax in Page and continuing or doing a repo-pickup / pickup-repo. There is no operational limitation for either a "P" or "E" model requiring that stop.


I flew KSMO to KTEB with regularity in three different Legacy birds over a period of three years in all wx...so shut the f*** up already.

(Also flew the ERJ with a full boat out of KEWR daily back in the day. Lot shorter than 7000' ya' rabble rousing a-hat.)

I guess I understand why you were asked to leave P.P.W. You obviously have very little interpersonal skills. <ignore list>

PK-RJG or PK-RGJ I believe. Now who is "just talking out of your ignorant, bloated backside?" And the crew calling it a "tech stop for fuel" after loading up 2 pax out of KSMO made it pretty obvious to me

There is *no* operational limitation requiring a fuel stop for that trip. WTF is a "tech stop"???


why they were going to Page. How can you possibly think that you know every trip that every Legacy does in the world? This crew stopped for fuel, that's all that I know.

Oh but I *do* know. Even the woeful "P" model can do that trip without a fuel stop. It is clear u don't know much where EMBs are concerned.

Take a look at www.legacydriver.com and run the E T/O numbers for a trip out of KSMO. Bear in mind airport-specific #s are far more favorable. Even the generic #s show the airplane woulda' made it fine.

(I asked for the N # so I can get the s/n and thus config info for an accurate rebuttal.)

I have no idea if they could have made it 100 nm from destination, or whether they could only make it a few hundred miles from KSMO, but I do know that they stopped for fuel.

No, you don't know. I can assure you they had to drop someone or pick someone then grabbed cheap gas on the way. No need whatsoever to make that stop purely for fuel.


You probably did fly KSMO - KTEB. But not everyone is comfortable going out of an airport that requires more runway than you've got, or landing in KTEB with 1,100 lbs of fuel. ;)

Yes, because the shortest runway at KEWR, rwy 29, at 6800' is so much shorter than 7,000 feet.

That was a typo on my part. My brain outran my fingers or something. KEYW. Key West, FL. 4800' as I recall.

No, I was not. I quit. If I actually cared enough to try I could login and say hello, but I won't because I don't. Many of the people I respect left and I'm glad to join them.

If you doubt me ask Josh or Mark (SPXDriv*r or F*lconC*pt -- trying to bypass FI filter). I am friends with both. If I were banned I wouldn't be asked regularly to come back.

I walked away from the place because G200 is a tool who runs all over that board like a deranged lunatic, completely unchecked. U*L78 and I had some very strong words via PM and I told him what he could do with himself. Haven't been back since. I'm sure the mods will share with you the terse "goodbye" I sent U78 since he later shared it with all of them (another bone of contention I have--namely that PMs should be kept *private*).

I quit message boards entirely until Rum dragged me into this conversation (the impending death of which I am eagerly anticipating so I can return to self-imposed exile--all these boards do for me is generate stomach acid).

As for "only opinion that matters," I'd like to know what makes anyone believe I think that way? I just defend what I know in the hope objective folks will see through all the baseless bashing. If the Legacy were half as bad as the nameless msg board pot stirring minions would have you believe it would have ceased production six years ago.
