#700 is ok, but #701 is a slice of heaven :D

I can save ya some time

If I didn't upgrade in less than a year I'd be outta there!

Come on up to Chicago, I'll kick you in the nuts and take your wallet, and we can call it a day?

"Formerly RegionsAir?"

“I would not count your chickens too soon there slick.”

JetScreamDriver – what if he/she got no chickens, huh? Are you discriminating against those agriculturally disadvantaged? ;)

Maybe we should rename this thread to “Formerly RegionsAir?” Most posts seem to come from guys/gals who used to work there, in other words “peeps” like me. Of course, then we have Princess Akeem but she seems to be the exception to the rule.

Anyway, the place is a tough company to work for but it’s doable if you don’t need to eat or sleep, etc.

Seriously though, let the ones who’re interested in working there decide on their own, I mean they are all adults, right? I for one will always be grateful for an opportunity to jumpstart my flying career. I know the owners-mafia has desperately tried to prove to the world they can run ANY airline into the ground, no matter how little they pay their pilots. Nevertheless while there I got to work with a great bunch of guys & gals and if I close my eyes and try to forget the pay, benefits, etc., I had a great time. Oh, and the “Jallalabad” hotel also known as البحثفحا في الصفحفحاات العرفحابيةصف صف - Hotel in Marion…that one still gives me nightmares…

(No idea what it says by the way but Google rocks! :))

Not bagging on Corpex, AV8OR. Just sayin'...Never ever ever count on something before you're there. I speak from experience.

Corpex was bery bery good to me.

I was not trying to say anything against the agriculturally disadvantaged. I know your people well and they are very special to me:))

Well, this my yearly quota on this website... I'm out.

Fair winds to all.

Oh, I totally understand, I was merely making fun of the chicken reference, that’s all. And as far as "bagging” on Corpex, well I was really talking about the previous 690 posts or so, majority of them saying Corpex sucks, don’t come here, etc, etc.

Even though I tend to agree with that statement, it looks like you and I got out from Corpex what we were hoping to get out (not counting the money of course) and maybe we all should let the new guys/gals figure this out on their own? We being all former Corpexers?

I don't agree to that! ;)

Why? Are they not smart enough to make that decision on their own or are you extra smart and want to decide for them? I am all for being honest and criticizing but c’mon there are bright spots even at Corpex. The camaraderie amongst the pilots is one example.

Interview Not Being Rescheduled

I have been informed by JEN N. the Cheif Pilot at Regions Air. That my interview will NOT be rescheduled after the cancelation we had last week (FEB 14/14) due to snow weather issues. The reason was due to the fact that I posted a copy of the letter inviting me to the interview in first place. That she feels that I would not be a good fit into the company. I did not feel as it would cause any problems. Though, I guess this time my foot got shot. Oh well life goes on and I have other 121 and 135 options ahead. Maybe this is a Blessing in Disguise!

Well, I was being sarcastic, but since you asked....
Yes, this is the best group of people you can work with, you won't find cameraderie like it at any other airline. No uniform police. If you forget your shaving kit for a day or two...maybe the whole sequence, NO WORRIES! Only have white socks because your black socks still in the wash? It worked for Michael Jackson in the 80's! There is no "pilot pushing" at Regions. The former CP was a cool guy, the new CP is a cool gal (even though she stared at my crotch the whole interview, which was OK by me :D ) It is my contention that if all the airlines paid their pilots $300k/yr...Regions would be the first pick of every pilot. Doesn't the attrition speak for itself though? Aren't they down to 4 FO's on the Saab side, soon to be 3? We all knew it was a gamble when we hired on, we just hoped to stay long enough to get some PIC.

I was in MQY today...

There were ERJ-145 manuals down at MX..

Whooo Hooo...

Just kidding.. :D
