Dash, I totally agree that it is in everyone's best interest to pull all of the frac wages up to professional standards.

Yes, the regionals are another aviation industry that needs serious correction. My sympathies to those pilots and their families, as well. One would hope that if the frac pilots could bring wages up across their industry that it would help the regional pilots in their call for fair wages.

Pilotpat, I, too, would like to see less bickering and more working together.
Good Luck with your future,
Netjetwife

NJW- you keep saying "professional standards". Define what you mean (in 4 sentances or less).

In line with NBAA figures and well above the blue-collar wages many frac pilots are paid.

Do I get a bonus for answering in one sentence...:p

Humphreybogart Enjoy your micro world now. Hope you have a job app in at McDonald's because when the union is in it will become a closed shop and you will be paying dues.

Too bad there's bad apples in every bunch.

Bad Monkey, You said it's going to become a closed shop. Please, with a remark like that, who's living in a micro world? You guys just think you're all mighty. You NJ pilots keep saying our day will come and NJ used to be a good place. Face it, we learned from your mistakes and we are now the new breed non-union shop fractional. It makes me laugh, it wasn't too long ago you NJ pilots were telling everyone to stay away, it's horrible working here. Now, because you get more money, it's suddenly the place to be. It's still the same old employee beating sweat shop it was before the contract, you now just get paid more and suddenly all is well. I was happy with CS before the pay raise and I'm now just happier several years later. You might think I just fell of the truck yesterday, but I have considerable aviation experience and that includes fighting management. The 1108 didn't just reinvent the wheel here, it's just the same old Union battle that's been going on for ever. But, somehow management always has a way to get what they want in the long run. Good luck!

If it's so wonderful being in the 1108, then why is NJI fighting tooth and nail not to join you beloved union? Makes me wonder.

My theory is this:

Cool-Ade drinkers are like alcoholics. You have to hit ROCK BOTTOM before you get motivated to go to that first AA meeting.

As long as managements don't allow this condition to occur ... nobody will be looking to start on a 12-step program there.

I drank the 284 Cool-Ade all the way to the POS TA of 2004 came out.

So as long as managements stays in the ballpark with raises and work conditions compared to those negotiated by 1008. I don't see organization at that particular company happening. Cool-ade drinlkers will continue to inbibe.
