Can't the old 1108 fix that problem. They can't, you know why. The pilots won a raise, but the company will make them pay for it in the long run. That's the fight I'm just tired of fighting. CS is about 9 years old and it's still a breath of fresh air.

FLYLOW22, You must have something against gays. Don't no ck it unless you have tried it. All that's right, before the contract you had a big jar of KY next to the bed. Now that you get more money, you still keep the KY next to the bed, don't you. I won't tell.

Step away from the booze. I repeat: Step away from the booze. It's ok if you have something to tell us big boy.

We must realize that observations are affected by our personal bias, and individual stories tend to be anecdotal rather than representational of the whole. That's why 1108 surveyed the pilot group. Fact--they are happy at NJA, as you are at CS.

The pilots are encouraged to call fatigued as needs be, and 1108 backs them up. I don't disagree that tired pilots can be seen in FBOs. We're heading into the busy season and NJA has a training backlog right now which means that the pilots are working hard. The OT pay pleases many of them. One shouldn't make assumptions based on facial expressions. Furthermore, the sheer size of NJA must mean that they're doing something right and that many owners are satisfied.

Why is it that you guys can't support one another? What's wrong with the concept of community spirit in the fractional industry? It takes nothing from CS pilots that NJ pilots are satisfied with their situation. Those two groups have it much better than others, so can't you put aside your animosity to encourage those who aren't faring as well?

Ultra Grump, It sounds like your about ready to cry. We've been back and forth on this forever. Lets get over your self and move on. Like I said if the 1108 is so wonderful why do you have a pilot group within your own company NJI who wants no parts of it, unless forced to.
Cry - that's a good one. NJI doesn't want a union for the same reason you don't - they were given a big, fat raise and several work rules changes immediately following our new contract. Notice a trend here? Why do any heavy lifting when NJA pilots will do it for you?
We were getting a raise if you got one or not, so people would look at CS as a long term career.
Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. Funny how CS, NJI, Avantair, and even Flex got a raise recently, and of course all those managements are so magnanimous as to do it all on their own out of the goodness of their hearts. Right.
It gets expensive in training cost not to mention the higher quality of service you can provide to the owners with people they get to know and trust.
This is why you got your raise. If CS hadn't come close to NJA, they know that one of 2 things (or both) would happen: 1) Possible union drive and 2) Pilots leaving CS for the better deal at NJA. Thanks for making my point.

When was the last time your CEO approached you on a flight and wanted to know what he could be doing better for the pilot group. That's what sets us apart from the other fractionals. He knows happy people provide top notch service because we don't waste our time thinking about how management screwed us and our next grievance.
I don't waste my time on any of that, either. I have been treated exceptionally well by the company. I only have one beef with NJA, and it involves the scheduling department. Sorry to disappoint you.

I can't tell you how many owners I've flown that used to be NJ, thats right used to be. The number one complaint was the pilots had no personality. They just hated the world. The crew was very unapproachable. When it comes down to it they pay us and we can't forget that. They liked the plane and they still thought it was safe, they just couldn't stand the attitude. You know what, when I'm in the FBOs I can see it first hand.

You know, do you ever get sick of being a management stooge???? Or do you just like pushing our buttons with your dribble??? Or maybe you are one of the AWESOME management guys you are always bragging about, either way this thread needs to die.

IT will never die! The same topic will resurface under a different thread. The day NJ pilots get over them selves, it will die.
