G-force, not to rain on your parade, but have you considered that you are probably opening yourself up to a huge lawsuit by running your mouth about your former company on here? "Wildbill" seems to know who you are and insists your accusations are false. I hope you have a good lawyer... I'd sue you if it were my company.

What else have they done? How about firing the CEO because his salary is TOO HIGH,this happened!!!They NEED money!!
How about CANCELLING flights and not informing the crews about it until the crews show up at the airport??? This happens a lot!!!
When you have monthly overhead of $180K + and monthly revenues of only $25K,does this sound like an outfit that is going to be successful 6 mos. from now??or 12mos. from now?? I seriously doubt it!!!!
The word I hear is that owners of SEVERAL of these aircraft leased to Wings Air will call these aircraft back off lease in the next 2 or 3 mos.Things should get very interesting in the next few months!!!

That's funny... I got a peek in their hangar about a week ago and there was only one plane waiting on engines.
Why are you so obsessed with an ex-employer?

Are they still flying the scheduled routes? I guess some people will work for free for awhile. I did notice like Josh said one Navajo with no engines but there were four others in the hanger for whatever reason.
Wings is not the end-all-be all flying job. But it was a job for many pilots that would have paid some bills and made life a little bit easier. I hate it when people rejoice in a company going under because that means many have lost their income.

Had a very interesting phone call today,the info was that WINGS AIR IS DONE.They just laid off the entire company of employees owing everyone a MONTHS PAY,owing FBO's at LZU,ATL, AHN,MCN tons of money in UNPAID fuel bills!!!!!
It all comes back to MANAGEMENT and Wings Air simply did NOT have any!!!!

They have it, they just won't pay their debts just like a gazillion other ops I've seen shut down overnight. I've had to threaten legal action for back pay before. The stonewalling I got was incredible. I just quit, told them what I was owed and that I wasn't playing around. The place went under within a few months of my leaving, but I did get my money or most of what was owed.

Whether you want to think about it or not John, there are over fifty(50) people on the street now without jobs. I am included. Let me tell you something fathead. I have listened to or read all of your babbling on this board. I have about had it. 1st your claim about unsafe operations. THE FAA is aware of your posts. they have been shown. Why don't you personally stop by to express your concerns. I know they are anxious to hear YOUR side of complaints. As to money, all of us got a jolt when payroll could not be made. Most of us stuck it out to the end with hopes of success. Some bad business decisions might have been made. It happens all to often. You might check with your "source" and ask them how may engines are in the shop to be placed on aircraft. Though we did not get paid, aircraft maintenance and safety were not compromised. This company tried to employ furloughed pilots to keep them going until they got their jobs back. While here they did an outstanding job just as the others did. The furloughs were lucky, they got called back. Not being an owner of the company I cannot begin to say what will happen next. I can only say that the employees that were hired did an outstanding job given the circumstances presented. For you to scream I told you so is an insult to very person who worked here.
John, now that you single handedly took down a small airline you should put that on your resume. Don't forget though that there are fifty(50) people on the streets who look to you as the "mesiah" because you saw it in your tea leaves. Now that you have this insight into the future, you should look at starting your own airline. But wait, you might just fire yourself.......

How could I be responsible for buying too many aircraft?How could I be responsible for too much mx expense,a bloated payroll,too much expansion,following reg's when you want to,firing pilots because they would not violate reg's,failing to make payroll??????Not paying pilots that were promised pay???? Does Robbie expect pilots and others to work for FREE??Apparently he does!!!These are ALL MGMT decisions,not mine!!Robbie needs to go to business school!!!!

I really wonder about folks who become overjoyed at the thought of more pilots going to the unemployment line, or worse. Some of these guys have families to feed and mortgages to keep up. And here you are ... jizzing your jeans that they're on the street. You're sump'n else, John. Truely.
