Sorry! I was welcoming back the RECALLED pilots and thought that the article provided a concise explanation of what's been going on here for those pilots that stayed away from airline stuff while on furlough. I won't post any non-recall stuff on this thread again.

Sorry, Charlie. I wasn't aiming that at you only. I was just refering to how every thread devolves into an East vs West mudslinging contest, regardless of how it starts. And, for most of us, we're just happy to be back to work. (I know, so far, everyone I talk to is amazed at that....... But it beats unemployment or some of the crappy overseas jobs some of us did...). Thanks for welcoming us back...

Seriously, though, what is that guy's angle? Did he just spontaneously write a blog about the Addington case? What is his connection to it all? Looking at his website, he seems to be a dispute resolution guy, not really a labor relations/union guy.

Does anybody know of a way to see base and equipment seniority breakdown without CatCrew? I've seen the seniority list on Wings but it says nothing about peoples bases and equipment. I'd like some info so I can make a better decision about my recall. Thanks.

Look at the last bid. Its on wings.

All have been offered recall to at least the 190. Not many west will go East to be junior to new hires and fly with Captains who should be, and will be, Junior to them.

Pilots coming off of furlough don't want to fly with Captains (not on furlough) that should be and will be junior (to the one now returning from furlough)?

Welcome back. Please accept our apology that we forgot to reserve the A330 captain slots for you. Maybe we could work out pay protection for you.

Meanwhile, gear up, bro.

Spoken like a truly ignorant easthole. There are captains on the E190 who are junior to west furloughees. These captains had no job in May of 2005. They only have the jobs because of the merger. Remember that.

Enjoy LOA93. Mesa Pilots make more. Jerk***

I just heared that the last recall to the east from teh west was 1 guy from the bottom of the list of those furloughed.

That is to say there is about to become a need for new hires. I guess over 100 west pilots bypassed? Could be.

I was 100% right.

55 more pilots @ 10 a month (only 1 more is a recall who has not been offered a job)

Poolies offered a job will be re invited.

Come January, there will be applications accepted.

E190 pilots aircraft lock will be waived because "Captain Hogg does not want the pilots "upside down." That means he does not expect much more hiring and the bottom pilots to slowly flip flop as small vacancies come up.

Come one, come all, and get my arse off reserve and out of PHL!!!!

Nut Brown Ale!!! Oh damn that is gooood.

 People returning from furlough aren't senior to active captains and won't be doing any bumping and flushing.

Like it or not there are no east pilots senior to west pilots and no west pilots senior to east pilots because there are two completely separate seniority lists and operations as spelled out in the Transition Agreement. In other words if Parker decided to close down PHX all the west pilots would get furloughed even the most senior captain. It will be like this until we ratify a new contract which may take another 5 years depending of course on the outcomes of the many litigations going on. On the bright side we are getting closer and closer to all those retirements on both sides.

I am pretty sure the 12 months doesn't start till the completion of IOE. So it is more like 14-16 months.

One guy says it began during 1st day of indoc. I have a query in to the union on this. Been two weeks now waiting for a response.

Better get that in writing... otherwise be prepared to serve your 12mo turn

I agree with you, and have stated so repeatedly and for the same reason as Grog. I'm just spreading the word from the management's mouf.
