Affirmative Action itself is just another form of racism. I am a minority and I don't ever want anyone to hire me just to fill some racial quota. Hire me because I'm qualified for the job, not because you need some token minority of the staff.

hey brown to the bone....why not go to alpa and require an adjustment to the sneiority list....... something along the lines of "hey I think we should have some affirmitive action around here to make things equal. Lets say that at the top 25% of the list there should be 50% minority. THat would make things better around here. make everyone happy since now things are equal! I grew up with no special bennies, I grew up in a poor area, I grew up with a single mother, I grew up with a family that got that terrible cheese and bread and was happy. I had four best friends while on active duty, one of which was a black guy. I did not see him as black, I saw him as a friend. There are many ways/programs/laws that "protect" minorities... I can't wait till Latin America takes over this country.
