i will formulate my much-anticipated monologue to respond to all rumours, questions and comments very soon, probably tomarrow. this statement will only include facts, so get ready to be properly informed / entertained.

Fact: Doug C. is an improvident lackwit

My question: Is all hope lost for Regions at this point?

Yeh, I dunno how many planes we are down to..
Four right now, since one is sitting in MQY with an engine problem since Thursday and they don't have anyone to fix it. MX is overstaffed according to management, after all.

No more will drop for heavy inspections for another 2-3 months, although there are some engine changes coming due. Engine changes don't take long, but the trick is having the new engine.

25 pages on a backwater, '60's technology airline that has been circling the drain of a long unserviced lav since 9-11 in spite of the boom in the regional airline industry as a whole.

Guys and gals, I have never seen so many good people wasted so badly on such a futile effort. It is reminicent of some of the Confederate charges during Gettysburgh.

So much has been sacrificed by so many that it amazes me that success did not come as a result of the sheer will expended by the people in the trenches to complete the mission. Well I know your frustration...

And to think, all those FO's that left in '03 and '04 foolishly for places like Continental Express are making more now as senior FO's than the CA's that have worked their butts off doing the impossible for the ungrateful...to say nothing of the FO's and their food stamps!

You have my heartfelt wishes for a successful New Year!

You deserve it!

Belchfire.

This sounds as if it came from the offices on the MQY airport...

Last year when Chicago Express went out Colgan put together a 10 day ground school and 2 sim sessions to get there SAAB pilots on line. They also did not have to sign a training contract. You guys should contact them about doing the same.

That is an outstanding suggestion!

There are some variables. The Saab CA's are quite senior and would hold Jball slots if management respects seniority-which legally I don't see an out for but I bet their HR person does-and they would get requal'd on the jball as CA...most are already typed.

For the Saab FO's is the real fight. Senior to many jball FO's but having to go through a brutal ground school on a new airplane. Colgan would be a really good choice.

The flip side is that if the CA's try to hang on to that fourth stripe betting against the odds that corpex survives and going back to the jball as CA they could end up being jounior at Colgan.

Things to think about...

God let them choose wisely!

Here it is boys and girls, the long awaited annual "12 Daze of Corpex"...
This was actually pirated off the crewroom board from an anonymous source, so I can't give credit where credit is due. Enjoy...
