If you were to create an image of living in Dubai from you and your buddies, I would paint a picture of overcrowded jails and mass gang-rapes with no consequences. However, my first hand experience is that Dubai is the safest city I have ever lived in. A first hand experience that General Lee et al, do not have.

Yes. Some of us are coming back. It's not all about the money. I for my part would be perfectly happy staying domestic for a few years before I fly another crossing.

Technically Richard wasn't a part of that. He left prior to NWA's BK, and came back after DL was done. Also, any money borrowed during BK has been paid back. The debt was over $18 Billion, and it's now down to $10 Billion and will be $7 billion shortly. And one only has to watch what has happened to European countries and their own national airlines to see what COULD happen here with no defense. Several countries like Gernany, France, and Austria limit what types of planes and how many cities can be served by the Gulf Carriers. Even Canada limits them to 3 flights per week, to one Canadian city. That's protectionism, and it protects national jobs. I guess you think they are wrong.... And they give you the middle finger....even though Airbus builds planes in France and Germany, they still limit the cities allowed. Hmmmmm.
