Don't these things always take a week or so longer than scheduled??

MDA Arbitration Question

It's official. This info was just received from our IBT747 rep. The arbitrator has decided that it was an asset sale.

Republic Airlines will offer 150 positions (75 Captain / 75 First Officer) to the approx 350 MDA pilots by seniority. The current J4J protocol will be used to integrate the incoming MDA pilots into the Republic Airways Holdings (CHQ) Master Pilot Seniority List.

They will retain their current MDA seniority amongst the other former MDA pilots who are already at Republic.

The former MDA pilots who are already at Republic and are now on line or in training will not lose their seat or base to the new MDA pilots who aren't here yet.

I'm learning all of this as I go. If there is a mistake in any or all of it, please feel free to correct it. Let me apologize ahead of time for anything I didn't get right.
