I talked with VK to take myself out of the march 29th Airbus class. I have scheduled surgery on the 15th and will be out for 4 to 6 weeks. She was awesome. Said to call her when I'm ready. She will put me in the first avail class when I'm ready to come back. Loosing seniority....ouch..Shows how great this airline is and how they treat their emplyees. Anyway, a March 29th slot just opened..Good Luck!

I got the call about a month ago for the March 15th class. I'll be leaving tomorrow morning for the drive to MCO!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys to get the call soon. JetBlue has been sending me emails with tons of information this past two weeks. The communication flow has been awesome and I cannot wait to get to Orlando.

Hey Guys,
Sorry, I should have checked in. I got the call for 15 March. I got pretty busy and I actually came down to Fla early. I think there are lots of folks out there waiting, they are just not on this board. What did we figure was the pass rate for our group? About 150-160 bodies? That is roughly 40-50 per month in training for the 3 1/2 to 4 month period they were hiring for. (including attrition--not everyone took the job--dumb a$$es) Anyway since this is the only place we can get our info, it seems like we are hung out there when really, only about 20 of the 150-160 are checking in here. I am guessing that anywhere from 75 to 100 folks are still on pins and needles. If I hear anything tommorrow, I will post it here.

Yep. Still here. Still waiting. I'm not getting anxious yet. We're just in the first week of that 8-12 week window. On saturday I got another copy of my PRIA stuff from the FAA. I guess that goes along with what somebody else posted earlier about some of the FAA stuff not being delivered to jetBlue and had to be requested again. I got the first copy about 7-10 days after the interview.

I got the call yesterday. They still have spots in both a/c for the 29th. It's conditional due to the FAA PRIA info. I got my FAA PRIA notification 3/7. Verna said they received 80 from the FAA on Friday and they hadn't gotten through them all yet. She said mine was probably in there.

I also got a second copy of my PRIA request on Saturday. Let's hope this one does the trick.

I'm starting to go crazy just looking at my phone and willing it to ring. My interview call came via a "no caller id" phone call so now I have given it a special ring and my wife swears that I was humming it the other night in my sleep.

I didn't realize how important a resource this site was for keeping an eye on the industry until it went down the other day. I REALLY felt out of touch with what was going on with B6 and the whole phase II process. Even though I haven't got the call yet, following everybody else's progress and collecting the little tidbits of G-2 is very helpful (and comforting!).

....I have been more of a lurker on this site over the past few months. I did interview on Jan 11th and am in phase 2. I received another FAA letter on Sat. stamped March 7th as well. I had received the same letter about 5 weeks ago, 1.5 - 2 weeks after the interview.

Hoping for the March 29th A320. I am based in Orlando and have a car there as well.

Did JB open up an MCO base recently?

That's good to hear. I live in Maine so that would be nice (still hypothetically speaking, of course). Bus/190 or both?

Also, living in Maine, I'm glad JB is moving into Portland. I know a lot of folks who trek from here to MHT for the SWA runs. I think Portland will work out well.

I doubt I'll be getting a call during what's left of this evening so, for those of us still waiting, welcome to week 9. I think Caveman had it right: We were all told it could be 8-12 weeks. Maybe not knowing how many people have already been called would have been better for my sanity. Damn the internet!!!

I got my contract and benefit pack in the mail yesterday. I called to see if they had received my last background check (FOIA from FAA) and they did so they made my offer firm. A friend of mine also called and they said they were still waiting on his PRIA from the FAA. He received a second letter from the FAA as many others have said they did but JB has not received anything from the FAA. He was going to call the FAA to follow up and see what was going on. Hope this helps those still waiting. Good Luck to everyone and see you soon.

How did he know JB did not get anything yet? I along with most others would love to find out how they're doing, but I am not going to call them as per the instructions we got. They told me in the interview and email after that they did not want us to call JB to see how things were progressing. Just have to keep the faith and let the system work.
