Send the cards in Flex guys I feel for ya. All of us Flops guys have been saying from day one that you guys have no clue the screwing your in for ( and not the screwing in a good way like the one you get from that 2k a hour hooker in Vegas ) I think now most flex guys have figured it out. Send the cards in so IBT can file a single carrier petition and let's protect what we got.

Someone else finally see's the problem with Flex pilots

Flex pilots are truly the biggest pussies I have ever seen . A man comes and robs them and they say oh well ......when is enough enough. ken has won and will continue to win . Ken if you are watching do anything you want to us my peers have no back bone . Please make sure you leave enough money for us to pay our mortgage and car payments . Thank you sir
Note- no union drive to flex. The possible drive is completely dead .

This my friend is all too true you hit the nail on the head! Always have been and always will be!

Sorry, guys. Now you're seeing how Management by Trust really works. Up to you what comes next, though.

Flex pilots aren't pussies. There's a lot at play here. One example: KR is already integrating, but he is doing it his way. He is offering Options pilots to come to Flex at the bottom of our seniority list. If Flex pilots join the union with Options pilots, then many Flex pilots become junior to most Options pilots. Most came to Flex with expectations of upgrading after two years. Now that we are experiencing growth and the FO's are finally seeing the possibility of upgrading and CA's have opportunity to move to a larger cabin fleet, making a wrong decision could be detrimental.

Yes, I know the flip side of this argument.

This is only my perception of our pilot group.

Very negative. More feelings of being lied to and cheated. The bonus being taken away was the real kick in the nuts.

The extra 3% that Bombardier used to give us is no longer, but we already knew that. I was on the call and don't recall him saying that the bonus would be taken away. The criteria in which the bonus will be paid is changing. The question is, what percentage of what will be paid. I too think that KR is stepping on his dong if he reduces this bonus down to an insult, being that our decisions as pilots saves the company millions.

I don't feel rosie either. There are too many unknowns.

On Yammer RH is specifically saying the 2014 bonus will be FUEL only.

You're assumption is that integration would be DOH. What we're going to experience at Flex is going to be far worse than integration. When you're forced to a dedicated crew you can expect the rules we did enjoy to be gone. Imagine the biggest egotistical moron in your fleet and imagine him as your new direct supervisor....because he is more than willing to toe the KR merit based mantra.

of course, KR made it clear when he told the employees who help make the company he bought profitable, "if you don't want to do things my way, leave".

That's always been his attitude. It's KR way or the highway. And he can change his way whenever he feels like it. FJ crews need to get ahold of Efrem and Scott and get informed. The Union is not going to solve all the problems but it's better then what's coming. Ask any RTA guy the promises did not match the actions. Is a repeat of what you guys are going thru. Same ol Same ol. Nothing changing

My friend Flexjet pilots do not know the law. The law states that when a intergration with or with out the union happens there will be fair and equitable seniority intergration. This is just a lie that ken ricci is proposing. He can not staple anyone to the bottom Fo pilots at flex will not remain at the bottom by federal law. Matter of time before the two groups merge.
Every year at NBAa ken promises shiny new airplanes, they hardly ever arrive. When they do come usually one or two.

Y can't 1108 tell us how they would integrate the two groups to stop all the rumors?
Because the integration would be determined by FlexJet Pilots and Options pilots working together following the McCaskill-Bond Law - Fair and Equitable.
Both groups of pilots from both companies would work towards a goal of fair and Equitable seniority integration.
To say that the 1108 has a seniority integration plan right now is not correct. The only plan the 1108 has is for both sides of the pilot groups to follow the law and determine the best way to integrate so as everyone comes out fair and Equitable.
Just to make it clear, it is not the 1108 that determines integration, it is the two pilot groups working together. Committee's from both sides would be formed, you want to volunteer for that committee, you will be able to.
That is how it would work
If you want a better detailed description of how the committee's would form and work together, please call our leadership, they will be happy to talk and explain the process. If you need their #'s please go to IBT1108.org, or I can get them for you. Also there is much discussion about this on forum.ibt1108.org. You can register anonymous and protect your identity, being a flex pilot.

With this new fuel bonus will come very few Atlantic Bucks. There gonna be telling you how much to uplift and they almost always have you tankering into Atlantic with min or no fuel purchase coming out of it. We used to make 1500-2000 a year in Atlantic bucks now it's difficult to make the 200 min a year so you guys can kiss that money goodbye also

Flex has been doing that for years. We have two employees (full-time and one part-time) who are in-charge of fuel purchasing. Flight plans are planned accordingly with the recommended lift for each leg. It is at the crews discretion if more fuel is needed for a given leg.

We still get Atlantic Bucks, but we don't rip off our company by doing so.
