The person could of lived in a CAL/ United base or any number of things that made their decision to switch. One fact to consider, do a search of Splerts past postings and see where he comes from. I'm just say'n. How does he know these things? On my days off I sure as *hit ain't worried about work, that's for sure.:beer:

1. I never put you on the ignore list, that was other people. I am think you are becoming confused by all the people who think you are a d-bag.

2. You're whole mission in life is a union at JB. You are trying to say that people are leaving JB for legacy airlines because our non-union pay and benefits are less than that of the legacy airlines. The truth is that there are many reasons to leave JB for a legacy, and higher pay and benefits is only HALF the story. No union can increase our retirement attrition or force the company to buy large fleets of widebody aircraft.

You don't have wide bodies and according to Rob M and Smarta$$ your rate of attrition should he huge. After all, pilots only want to fly bigger things and upgrade.

Maybe you don't have 40% of your pilots looking to leave because you have real leadership and QOL.

Actually, there is considerable discussion in the SWA threads about junior SWA/AT pilots leaving for Legacy airlines.

As far as your 40%, I wasn't going to say this publicly, but since you are being such a D-bag, I am one of those who said on the survey that I was applying elsewhere, even though I have NOT. I am VERY certain that I am not alone. Every pilot who took that survey knew full well that data point would be used as a negotiating position or demonstration of disattisfaction. To take it literally is to be a complete fool. Most airlines are now hiring or will soon be. Lets see if 40% of JB pilots leave. But you will have all kinds of excuses when nowhere near 40% of our existing pilots leave...

Say what ever you want. I am PROOF positive that your data is invalid/inaccurate.

I will now wait for you to tell me that I am not a JB pilot, and only work in corporate....

A valid point, but then you have to look at it from the other side of the coin? How many of the other 60% didn't put that in either? How many of the 20% "unsure" people did?

It goes both ways, so in the end, it probably balances out.
