I have to say I had nothing against you till now. You have officialy won the piece of $hit award for the year. H25b people like you are the ones who work for G0Jets. This is why your pilots are not allowed in my jumpseat or a number of other pilots jumpseats who understand this war. I do not work for TSA there for I don't have managment forcing me to let GJ scum onto my airplane. Its pilots like you who make this industry what it is today. I am finished argueing on this thread, I understand and will support the TSA pilots in this battle against scum like GJ's and H25B. I can't believe i'm getting fired up over this and I don't work for either company. Regards

Thank you for your support. We should also thank h25b for performing a public service. His posts have been very helpful in fleshing out what g0jet is, and the type of individuals that would choose to join such an outfit.

I too support TSA! I do not work for either company and I can assure you that HoJets are not allowed on my aircraft either. I do carry their seniority list in my bag and just can not wait until the day comes when one of those pieces of sh!t tries to board my aircraft. This is no jumpseat war it is just simply away too not have to smell the sh!t reaking from their slimy pores!

TSA Jumpseat MEMO

A flight manager was in the crew room the other day and was asked about the new memo. He said that NO ONE that is NOT a TSA pilot is allowed in the jumpseat (except FAA, NTSB, etc). So that means NO codeshare or mainline guys allowed. Sorry CHQ, MAG, CJC, UAL, AA, AE, ALG, US, and anyone else that was allowed in our jumpseat. He said that the reason for this was becasue "too many guys were calling the FAA 1-800 number and saying that they felt intimidated and scared that they would be fired if they denied someone the jumpseat" So to fix that the company took the jumpseat away. The flight manager said that there would be a GOM revision out shortly to reflect the memo. As for me I'm gonna carry a copy of the memo with me so I can show people if I need to. I hope this gets solved soon. Maybe once a few mainline guys get denied then their people will call our people and we will get the jumpseat back. Until then this is just another way for management to make us look like the Jacka$$es. And its just another way to make the TSA pilots life just that much harder cause commuting is gonna be way more fun now.

As far as Air Whisky is concerned, I believe we will all continue to allow all TSA pilots on our planes. We know that its not the pilots doing this..just the management. That BS tactic wont work. As for the TSA captains, a simple quick explanation might help your cause when denying the JS. One of ours was denied the JS without a real explanation, and he felt slighted. He was ready to return the favor until he was told the true circumstances. As far as Im concerned, This makes me want to help TSA pilots even more. We are all on the same team, and need to come together as one. Sounds corny but I cant think of another way to say it. My Game plan is simple..

1)I wont EVER vote for concessions..I will be happy to lose this career than work for $10/hr. The whole argument of "you need to take these paycuts or we wont be competitive, and wont grow, and may be our demise, and we will have to furlough, and.....:puke: . I say go ahead and shut it down then. Maybe these companies will start passing on the cost to... lets see here...UM...maybe the customers. No more $149 roundtrip coast to coast flights for Billy Ray and Betsy, with their four rugrats from 3 different marriages.
2)I will make anyone flying for that Alter Ego airline find another way to work. Never on my Plane. That was a choice you guys made when you walked through that door.
3)I will support ANYONE who is fighting to keep our wages and QOL respectable.

The whole evolution of who stole whose routes, and you guys pushed me out of my base has got to stop. The pilots arent the ones doing this. Its ALL of our companies doing the dance. It will prob continue, untill we all quit taking concessions to get more flying. I remember a Mesa Pilot bitching because we stole "Their" US AIR Flying and Kicked them out of Philly. He was mad and hateful towards us, the pilots. Thats Ludicrous. I am not mad at them for taking the united flying from us, because I know its a big game we have little control over.
TSA Pilots you have a ride if you need it.
ALter Ego lackies.... start walking.

Oh and H2mbwhatever...Im pretty convinced you are getting paid to write the crap you do on this board. You defend that dump like you own it. Whatever you say on this board doesnt insult me or get me in an uproar, like some of the guys here. I can see right thru your crap. You are a clown just like all the others working there...

Great post, thank you..

Oh boy!!!!

Do i ever agree...

Call their bluff and see what happens. Tell me all the HR, Gate agents, rampies,
paper pushers, schedulers, dispatchers.... all want to lose their jobs....NO
they don't and they will try very hard to push the upper management to
do the right thing.....

And that is to RAISE THE FARES.

It is not OUR problem to fix, why don't you handle the problem. As for your comment of "maybe after a few mainline guys get kicked out of the jumpseat", I take it you are no longer allowed to ride on UAL or AA jumpseats? If you still are, I am not sure how long that is going to last, although I don't find it huge problem as your flights are more often weight restricted and leave non revs behind, as well as revenue paying passengers on occasion.

What is more likely is the mainline carriers will retaliate taking away jumpseat
privleges from TSA pilots. Thus EVERYONE LOSES, That is why your silly attempts to stop GO Jet Pilots from jumpseating ends up hurting everyone. You guys are just now going to see how your actions come back to bite you in the a$$

I know it is our problem to fix. Since we seem to be getting fired for any little reason I think that the only way this problem will be fixed will be with the help of our mainline buddies. We start contract negotiations next month and this is just the first step of bad things that will happen over the next few years while we get our new contract. I would say that most TSA guys are doing what they can to fix the problem. I also agree that most mainline guys will fix the problem by denying TSA use of their jumpseat. I can definatley see that happening. However TSA management doesn't respect us and I think that we will need the support of other companies in order for Hulas to hear us and get the problem fixed.

You know AAflyer, you're almost correct in stating that this is not you're problem to fix. However, it does indirectly affect you, me and anyone else who might commute.

When it comes down to it, this is not about the jumpseat itself rather a managemet team that will stop at nothing to drive a wedge through labor. This is not the time to look at something of this magnitude as "it's not my problem." The argument can be made that this is what's got us into this mess to begin with. I'm talking about every airline out there. We all have problems, wether you believe it or not. You see, I believe that big brother has always had the power to help out when needed. I'm well aware that you have your own battles to fight. But until everyone comes to the realization that two is better than one, managemets all over this country are gonna have our lunch, no exeptions.

As for me, TSA guys/gals and anyone else trying to hold the line (no matter how big or small) are always welcome on my jumpseat.

Your effort to educate them while noble is fruitless. This is why I sit and wait for it all to transpire and then I shall come back with the, "I told you so...."

You are correct and it's already starting to happen.

I'm beginning to think that you're in TSA management. Noble? What a load.

It is now a reality. According to the last GOM revision that just came out, we are now NOT allowed to take ANYBODY BUT a Trans States pilot in the actual jumpseat. We still can take 2 jumpseaters in the back if there's room. This is the latest of a series of moves from a dishonest management team to bust our union. To all who might get affected by this situation please take our sincere apologies from all TSA pilots. Hopefully this situation will get solved quickly (doubt it). to those who said this is a result from a "jumpseat war against *************************s pilots, it is not. It's a result of the FAA having complaints from TSA pilots who got fired for denying jumpseaters and then got fired.

I am pretty surprised that only Frontier and Pinnacle are the only ones that didnt sign the receprical jumpseat agreement. Good luck TSA

I don't think they are any more or less noble than any other pilot. They are
just making a living and trying to get by in this world same as you and me.

I know Air Willy didn't. Our MEC vowed to never honor a HoJets jumpseat agreement.
