Hi!

That's correct. It would be better if LOTS of pilots were clamoring over better jobs, like Mesa or Great Lakes!

cliff

Any chance we can stay on topic ("Allegiant Interview" not whether you want to work there frankly I don't give a damn) and discuss whether calls have gone out for job offers?

It is so depressing to see so many people clamoring over a job like this.

Sign of the times.

One thing that needs to be clarified is Allegiant doesn't fall into the 'job like this' category anymore. This is one of the few aviation jobs that allows you to have a normal adult life and still fly airplanes for a living - hence the clamoring.

Uh lets see..

1) they are growing

2) so far their business model is successful

- they own their own airplanes and are buying 757s outright
- their model endures better than most when oil hits the roof
- load factors always around 90%
- NASDAQ loves them

3) pilot pay scale is improving dramatically

4) home every night

5) reasonable upgrade time right now

6) they are hiring

no brainer to me....

To answer the earlier question:

I know someone who got the call today for a class date this month
