Exactly, S3sundowner was claiming to be JBLU. He was real active in all the SWA/AAI threads post 9/27 saying he didn't have a dog in the fight but always had an opinion on what we should accept. Turns out he was lying and is just a tool.


There are plenty of so called pilots posing as others on this forum...all in the name of managing expectations. I think it's pretty low to lie and spread misinformation like these idiots do.

Funny, when called on it he gets real quiet...

He's retreated to his cave with his life partners, Mastercraft and Boeing 717.

AhhhhhhhhCRAP! I hate to do this but Boeing aren't you an employee at the headquarters or something. Is this true? I am sure if an 8 year cap left for Southwest there would be some talk.

A captain did leave recently but it was to a foreign carrier not SWA.

The last one that I know of was about 2 years ago.

PCL has access to the ALPA membership list; he says we haven't had any CA leave in recent months, that settles it for me. The rest of you guys can keep posting your "I heard from a guy at the schoolhouse" rumors. :rolleyes:
 
Also, no ATN negotiators, whether SLI or contract, have interviews coming up at Southwest

PCL, I guess you have not seen the interview list.
 
Whether or not this story is true is of little consequence. An important fact that will not be overlooked in the event of arbitration is that before September, AAI Captains and FOs interviewing at SWA was very common. Some even got hired.

This is an irrefutable, and absolutely demonstrable fact.

Ya, I am sure that will be the deciding factor. A hand full of guys left AAI for LUV. We are all screwed now.:rolleyes:
 
I didnt say deciding factor, I said it will not be overlooked. And its more than a handful. There are well over 100 ex AAI guys on our list now. That approaches 10% of your entire list. That doesn't include guys that werent hired or applied and didnt get called.

Everybody makes decisions about their careers. Some times people think flying in the 70's you are nuts, my family, for giving up a 32,000 per year job flying a 4 engine jetstar to fly for 750 per month to fly a 737 out of bankrupsy. I did it and after that company went broke and sold their airplanes I ended up at retirement making 200,000 per year. I took the chance and won.

Well, here's a little hint, IF the number of AAI pilots was really 100, that's a lot closer to 5% than 10%.

And, as for the rest, et tu, Brutus, et tu.
