Thanks for all the info guys. This helps.

    ASA and returning from leave

Anyone know if you were on the 200 when you go out on medical leave do you have to requal back on the 200? Or can you bid over to the 700 when you come back assuming you can hold it? Thanks

    Delta TA on SCOPE

You are correct. We are currently at the max 255 and the only way to get more 76 seaters is to park the 70 seaters as to never exceed the 255. Currently there is 102 70's and 153 76 seaters. If this TA passes those 102 70 seaters will be grandfathered in and 70 more 76 seaters will be allowed.

Delta Q's from a furlough bypass guy...

Im on the Diamond HSA pla. It's 137/month for family. Preventive care is 100% and a $2300 deductable individual or $4500 family deductable. Then it's 90% coverage until you pay $500/$1500 individual/family copay then 100% covered. Last year it was better as it was 100% after initial...

    Delta Pay

Do I take it your a yes voter than General? There isn't anything in this TA that worries you?

    Delta shenanigans

You say that like it's a good thing. We don't need to allow ANY 76 seaters to get rid of something where the price of fuel will take care of for us.

    ASA training dept. rumor

Thats what everyone keeps saying but didn't guys get the same amount of days off and credit with trip dropping via line bidding? Seems like when the company is in an overstaffed situation it wouldn't really matter to them.

DL - no single aisle orders

That may have happened a few times, but that scenario is blown way out of proportion. I will run across a female in the crew lounge or on the line maybe once every month or so. At the regionals it seemed it was every other trip I was flying with one. We just don't hire a lot of females...

    Congrats Go Jets

The 12 year rate for 2011 is $112 CA and $77 for a E190/CRJ900. 2012 is $117 and $80 respectively. Not great but certainly better than any regional out there. This is from the pay scales on our JCBA.

So much for the huge growth rumor at SW

The 777 and 747 are at $217. Again I'm not saying these are great rates for the planes but rather trying to put the whole picture together.

So much for the huge growth rumor at SW

Your right, there are. 70% of that category is 757's. I felt his statement was a little misleading and not the entire picture. The widebody category I was referring to is the 767-400 and A330. Both of those are purely international which also receives a $6 CA and $4 Fo override as well which...

So much for the huge growth rumor at SW

You know a DAL widebody CA makes $205 now and will make $213 at the beginning of the year. Not saying thats great pay for a widebody but your facts are wrong. So if you can hold widebody CA reserve you should be able to hold Narrowbody 767 CA as a lineholder which will be at $189 come the new...

    Deal! Air Tran/SWAPA!!!

I hope this turns out well for you guys and are able to complete this without arbitration. I think it will show how smooth mergers can go when you work together and not get into a wrestling match with management like what's happening at UCAL. Good luck.
  14. M

Delta aggressive with it's regional partners

Thats what I think will happen in the future. The margin is too slim for regionals that they are never going to be able to increase pay and benefits to a level that will attract pilots when massive hiring ensues in the later part of the decade. Mainline may have the same problem finding...

    I hear-by challenge general lee:

The loads from DTW and ATL in the next week or so look pretty good actually. Even though it's just a couple of months till summer I bet those flights fill up to about what they are now. People aren't booking as far out in advance as they used to so looking at any flight a couple months out are...

    RAH NMB Ruling

Then maybe we can get DAL management on our side in exercising the language in our Section 1. They seem to have better lawyers than we do.

    Jeff is Challenging Scope.

They probably care because they are trying to play nice in efforts to get them to vote in ALPA to get more dues and control.
  18. M

What are the projected retirements for SWA?

Those aren't huge numbers but as a percentage of the company it's relatively the same as what DAL will be having. Percentage wise I think it's a little more. That is through 2020. After that I think DAL pulls ahead for the next ten.

    Delta short call rsv question

Just curious why you didn't answer your phone if you wanted to fly anyways. If your on short call there is no advantage to logging in to see the trip. If it was a white slip, green slip, or long call with a yellow slip in and you are debating whether or not you want to go then I would do the...

Anderson to align capacity with demand

I thought I saw in the crew lounge that it was up to 84 on the plasma as of July 1.
