Colgan parking airplanes and voluntary furloughs
I'll probably take the voluntary furlough. But the usual protections (seniority, tenure, etc.) must be in place, and in writing. Since there is no union yet (go teamsters!!) everyone should get something in writing that is legally enforceable. Something that would stand up better than those weak...- taildragerpilot

Shuttle America 170 and CLE
looking at the shots from the air on CNN, the RH engine nacelle looks a bit twisted. that bird will be in a hangar for a while. i'm glad everyone's OK, but it seems strange that with what was known about the WX, the GS OTS and the runway length/conditions, why was the approach or landing ever...- taildragerpilot
