Man I feel for these guys...
The students at Regional Airline Academy of course.......Deland, FL and Arizona locations. They closed the doors shut. Word is they just took the students money and never said anything about how students would finish, get back funds or anything. That's gotta suck......I feel for all the students... -
ATP opening new locations...
Anyone heard about this? I looked at the website and said it would be opening 5 new locations. One in particular is Tampa, FL location.....If so WHAT AIRPORT? Only 3 class D's around here and I couldn't imagine a flight school at KTPA....Any info from ATP instructors?????? -

question about turbocharged aircraft.
Is there a difference between an aircraft with a turbocharger and a plane like a SR-22 or Mooney acclaim which says....our engines are turbo-normalized.....is there a difference?I understand that they have turbochargers but what does it mean when they say Turbo-normalized???? Thanks. -
ADF simulator...is there one?
I have the seen the sims for VOR Naviagation but I still have not got the ADF yet....I understand it some. I was only taught to use the ADF once on a night X-Country flight with my instructor and every since then the planes I flew in either had the ADF removed or there was a placard over it... -

I was at a FBO that I used to frequently fly from....(no longer) I overheard a couple of flight instructors talking about how they once logged false hours in their books....this made me feel uneasy. It seemed that As I was there all the time and I have seen alot of crazy stuff, that it was ok... -

was or is there a online testing center which allows you to take written exams for certificates without an instructor's sign -off?? I doubt it, was but just a question. Thanks. -
Officialy....Private Pilot.

Question about Airspeeds...
OK everyone knows that below 10,000ft the speed limit is 250KTS....then 200 within lateral boundaries and c-g airports But what if you are inbound and decending through 10,000 ft to a class b airport at 250kts with a tailwind....and your ground speed is 268-270 kts.....will you be in violation... -
