I was talking to an EMS pilot who went the civi route. Said he wouldn't change a thing and loves his job. But it this really the majority? I understand the pay tops out at around $70K. Plus he lives in Phx were cost of living in pretty cheap.
I know there is a lot of talk between both services. But one thing I hear a lot about is the difference between each fighter community. According to the Navy they are told what not to do while the AF is told what to do. Any truth to these comments? Anybody here flown fighters in both services?
I know there very popular and selling like crazy. Plus I hear there fun and easy to fly but anything negative about them? They seem to have a good safety rating. Also what is the operating cost for those beasts. Thanks.
Does anybody have anything good or bad to say about this aircraft? Looking for a good XC bird. There seems to be current projects for sale that are a good price.
I keep seeing this job opening and was wondering what its like to be a test pilot for the FAA. I know you need to go to TPS which cost a lot of money or be get in through the military. But what is like? Do they just fly you out wherever they need you? Are they gone lots of days?
Does anybody have any thing good or bad to say about Cambridge? A friend is looking for something that is close to DC since thats where the office is. But he only has to go once or twice a week. Housing is still affordable in that area and just looking for any info. Thanks
