hey john pennekamp
hey john, don't let me catch you trying to ride a jumpseat on one our (SKYWEST) 2000+ flights a day to almost every state on the continent either...i'm sure our airline has more destinations than yours..and if you keep making threats like that, everyone is going to know your...
...And I'm sick of seeing my 900 year old grandma go through in a while chair and have to get up and walk through the metal screener...there is a dam* reason she's in a fukin wheel chair..its insane...El Al uses racial profiling and is regarded the most secure, and most targeted airline in the...
skywest is such a great place to work...and whats with the ALPA hostile take-over? i've already done the alpa thing..i think i'll pass this time........
*these are my opinions only...decide for yourself...i mean...ALPA has worked for Mesa, ASA, and Comair...
the plane was doing a cross bleed start on taxiway B...the whole incident lasted about 10 seconds..they said no steering, no brakes, no icas messages, flight spoilers popped up...could there have been a problem with the weight on wheels micro switches?
the plane lost all nose wheel steering and all braking..photos of the plane in the mud show full right rudder deflection too..and the pilots aren't getting fired...still glad we don't have alpa
so what airlines will not give you hassle jumpseating internationally if you're a CASS member pilot? my airline has limited "international travel days" and I don't want to pay to get across the pond...so being a member of CASS how do I jumpseat international? is it all taken care of at the gate...
keep in mind that the brasilia fully loaded only carries 30 people..and its profitablity has a ceiling..its not cost effective to keep raising the brasilia's pay...i agree it sucks! but they can only be paid so much..first year pay is the same on both planes, and everyone has an opportunity to...
i have aircraft training on dec 8th...would it be safe to head off on a 5 day trip to ireland if i can't get a response from the IOE lady? any possible way to find out your length of wait time? AND do we get off training pay after the checkride, or after IOE? thanks
yeah..we're so gullible and naive..dang it feels good to be a part of a functional airline (family)..I'd rather be under JA ANYDAY over B Labreque..I was just as unhappy as you..just remember you have a choice in where you work...if you don't like it, leave..i did, and couldn't be happier..SCREW...
I did ASA for a year and got tired of all the whiners..any pay raise you guys get won't dent the money you've (WE'VE) wasted on ALPA..and JA isn't as bad as you guys make him out to be...in my opinion and experience, skyw is MUCH more of a family than an airline..ASA is a huge group of people...
I hope you don't think ALPA is going to get you a raise...if they do it won't be anything noticeable in your paycheck..we have a ton of great benefits for extra pay here at skywest...then it'll be in place for 3-4 years as a contract...THEN you'll have 4 years + of negotiations for another...
SkyWest isn't taking airplanes from you...your ALPA group is refusing them over a pay scale. SkyWest wanted ASA to have those planes...and said fine we'll take them since you won't...SkyWest pilots aren't scabs either you idiot. Just because you're not ALPA, doesn't make you a scab...
first off good luck with that retro pay...secondly..you guys shouldn't have to write up every detail on the plane..this industry is about customer service..ALPA should be taking care of your problems, not you inflicting damage on your company...everyone at ASA longer than 4-5 years has spent...
first off grow up..we don't have to call each other names...but you're right..ASA management pissed in my wheaties too..Here at skywest, there is a great (great means existant) relationship between pilots and management...and i'm not blinded by hate for a hard working bunch of volunteers..i'm...
