Rez O. Lewshun,
I'm asking a question. What's ignorant is to blindly follow. I will ask my reps about it, but since you chimed in like a wise a@@, why don't you give us all a complete summary of how the salaries break down. Yeah we're weak for asking questions. Whatever.
No, just the passport. Its all done on a powerpoint presentation. I did it last month and its a complete waste of time. Eight hours worth only four hours of pay. Nothing that coud'nt be done in recurrent.
Nobody wants to live Dallas, that's the funniest thing I've heard. Dallas is a newer base therefore more senior people are in ATL. ATl has to be the biggest dump of a city with the worst operation. Everything flows so much smoother in DFW. The main reason ATL people dont come out DFW is probably...
That's a great attitude asacap, let's take it out on the people who pay our salary. I know, let's make every flight as late as possible, that will show the company! Sorry folks we were 30 minutes late beacuse I was too lazy to pick up the mic and remind the company to send a fuel truck, please...
Ditto the above. Also try to get a room with one bed and the desk, it's alot better for studying. Go to a grocery store and stock your fridge. Theres a McDonalds across the street (worst service ever) and a couple of good local place to eat and drink beer. I would definately recommend driving...
The phone interview is very basic. They'll ask what you have been doing flying wise in the past six months, broad background stuff and what you can bring to ASA. DOS means Date of Signing in the contract for pay rates.
The key to getting a good electric shave is to use a pre-electric shave lotion. It helps sooth the skin while shaving. Only a few out there, I like gillette pre-shave. The braun synchro is the best electric razor i have used.
Oh yeah I did forget IAH. What the heck were those guys thinking with those taxiway designators? Whats funny is watching us go to IAH and getting confused and then seeing Continental get confused when they come to DFW, it's just what your used to. :D
DFW is pretty easy once you get the hang of things, the ATL guys hate it because alot of them don't get out here much and it's strange at first. ORD is pretty intense if you've never been there before just because of the speed at which the controllers talk, but once you've done it a few times...
Didn't they already start this on select test flights out of CVG on Mainline D? I believe they sell sandwiches and cold meals for like $8 bucks. Yeah I have a napkin and bottle of water that says Delta on it, the merging of seniority lists must be around the corner. Not even good flamebait :p
