I usually check out an FI thread by reading the OP, then skip to the last page and see how everything turned out. It's funny how off-topic we can get and how quickly as well.

I heard the same exact thing. Cautious optimism tells me that I have heard recall rumors before but I so want that to be true for the furloughed guys.
I would have to agree that the vrf offering this June is much smaller (fewer BES are offered) than I have seen in recent memory.
Consider the pot stirred some more. I have some good friends out on furlough and I have high hopes for them.
In related news: US Congress is expected to bring about legislation that calls for taxation of airlines if volcanic activity causes extended delays or cancellations.
