Delta neighbor of mine forwarded this to me. She found it on Facebook apparently. Quite hypocritical if you ask me. Will Delta's management take a similar decrease in their profit sharing percentage???? Or will their bonuses increase as pilot profit sharing goes down...
Both Jetsuite and Wheels Up seem to be growing like wildfire in my neck of the woods. The Phenoms and KingAirs are ubiquitous here in the Southwest/Cali. Why should they limit themselves to smaller jets/TPs when they are growing their customer bases at a high rate? I know WU also partners with...
http://wjcl.com/2014/10/14/gulfstream-flexjet-enter-into-agreement-for-50-aircraft/
Wow! The Netjets guys are shedding the Gulfstreams and the Flexjet guys are adding them (including the G650!)... Who would have thunk it?
As a current Gulfstream driver (much older GIV), I am jealous!

American Pilot Leader: 'America West Pilots Should Join Seniority Talks'
Two unions and a series of federal judges have tried unsuccessfully to fix the problems unleashed by a controversial arbitrator?s pilot seniority ruling following the 2005 merger of America West and...
Pretty good video. The cabin and flight deck look very nice. I really like the look of the signature series cabin - very comfy. Having flown the CL300 for a few years, I am a big fan of the aircraft and the CL350 looks like a winner. It was a great airplane to fly. Check out the video...
Seems far fetched but you never know.... This lessor clearly wants the business after ordering them. Maybe they will be based out of SEA. :D

I bet GL will be happy to read this. No doubt Anderson at Delta is salivating over these airframes... When will Delta approach Hawaiian for their 717s?

I just read the latest B&CA mag (May 2014) today in an FBO and this article about the Legacy 500 has me convinced that this will be a game changer aircraft. And yet no fractionals will fly them.... Given the inroads made by Embraer at Netjets and Flight Options that still surprises me. According...
How soon before we start to see the new Lear 75 in Flexjet colors? How many are on order?
Having flown the Lear 25, 35, 45 and CL300, I am a fan of Bombardier products and I imagine the Lear 75 will be a winner and appreciated by the passengers. Also looking forward to seeing the 85 when it...
I took a close look at the new Legacy 500 at the last NBAA and I was impressed. Nice cabin, good performance and a very capable flight deck.
I would think the new Legacy 500 would be a natural addition to a frac's lineup. Why has that not happened? Any guesses? I suppose Netjet's huge CL350...
Anyone got the latest on Avjet out of BUR?
Thought I heard they were adding some airframes - could be wrong. Any info on large aircraft pay (FO/Capt), monthly schedules, pilot domiciles (everyone out of BUR?) and general working conditions? I am well familiar with typical 135 ops but am...
I found this on ad on latestpilotjobs.com. It says looking for people "willing to work an aggressive schedule on brand new equipment." No mention of specifics regarding salary or schedule (beyond the "aggressive schedule"). For now must live within 2 hours of TEB gateway - no mention...
I hate to add fuel to the fire... EK has a fantastic product and the US and Euro legacies simply cannot compete on a product-to-product comparison.
But according to this article, it looks like EK will need to find homes outside of Dubai for roughly 25 A380s (and how many 777-X aircraft?) in...
Everyone likes to fixate on the 3 big Gulf carriers - Emirates, Etihad and Qatar. The discussions on FI on others about US or Euro carriers vs. Gulf carriers is getting repetitive. Meanwhile, it seems like people are forgetting about another big carrier that is also growing very fast in the...
I have heard mixed reviews on this board about Sky Limo as an employer... Regardless, this might work for ex-Avantair pilots living in South Florida if they are still seeking a job. See article below:
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Nov 6, 2013) - Sky One Holdings, LLC d/b/a Sky Limo...
I see these guys on the road quite a bit when I fly to Europe - big silver and red Global Expresses & CL605s. Very nice airplanes - but the European pilots are not that well paid according to what they have told me. They like the airplanes and the flying worldwide but not the pay... Not sure...
Is Netjets getting any of the newly revamped Sovereigns or have the orders been fulfilled? I know Netjets upgraded the XL with the XLS a few years back.
Buddy sent me a picture of the newly-upgrade flight deck and it looks pretty nice...
Good news for the American pilots flying for EK - more time at home away from the blazing HEAT.... I recall the EK CEO mentioning at one point that he would eventually want every US destination served by A380s - not sure if some of these thinner routes could support A380s.
