Why shouldn't they? SWA destroyed a great airline in AAI, and didn't learn anything in the process. How did they not learn from AAI's baggage handling? SWA had better change, and change fast, otherwise they are in deep trouble! Never mind their issues with botching departures at ATL, lining up on the wrong runways at BWI, and all the other crap they keep screwing up.

A wake up call for many of the SW employees...we have been saying as much here on the Airtran side but have been written off as just being angry about the merger.

SW has a converging RASM/CASM.....their product has pulled all it can in the RASM department...so how is gary going to address it? only gary knows but a few thoughts come to mind

-bag fees
-enhance their product...business class at a minimum....although assign seating brings some calm and comfort to an already stressful event...plus y'all can get extra revenue for emergency seating
-cut head count through technology
- grow
-go after the 8 employee groups contracts...which he will do...which WILL go over like a lead balloon...which will further erode the "happy place" to work

All of which will make for some choppy seas ahead for SW

It is counter-culture to comment on the Emperor's new clothes surely you have learned that by now. Put your head down and row, as the Phoenicians are fast approaching.

What about the hat? And the coat? And the mandatory stick in your a$$? And GL? All deal-killers, and there's got to be more...DTW...

What's the matter? Your interview didn't go well? Need a hug?

The stick up your A$$ is firmly planted sideways so I'm not even gonna bother asking which commuter you work for junior.
