Buddy at JB told me JB is eagerly eyeing Republic E170/190 FOs with no PIC time for open 190 slots. Evidently several have been offered positions lately. Does not surprise me - no PIC time means less mobility.
With probably close to 80-90% with apps out.

Jetblue's healthcare plan is MUCH WORSE than Republic's. FACT.
Overall QOL and pay at Republic is MUCH WORSE than JetBlue. FACT.

Another 23% are "Not Sure". It is therefore fair to say that better than 50% of JetBlue pilots are looking elsewhere.

This predicted high attrition is exactly why I dismiss the guys who say upgrades will be > 10 years for new hires.

Awesome. Upgrading due to attrition. Just like working for Mesa, Asa, Trans States, etc, only we have worse health insurance. But hey that doesn't affect you.

If you are a Captain JB, you have better job than 90% of the pilot flying in the US. Six figure income, if senior a good schedule. My two buddies working there as CA's seem pretty satisfied with their lot in life compared to flying at JUS. BTW the housing bubble resulted in some real cheap real estate with a shortage of rental proprieties., not all badWe have a winner!
How the F does "upgrades due to attrition" help the guys already captains at bluejet?
