Only a real scifi movie geek would recognize it!

Me, too. "Wheels up, heels up, I'll take the chicken." Except no chicken for Sacka.

You wear heels while in uniform?

Oh man, it's all making sense now. Not only AREN'T you a Captain, I don't think you're an FO. I'll bet you're a damn FA.

Darn! Outed twice in one day!

Wait...Wait....don't tell me. ....Fudgie, you're in Nome at the BOT. And Barack is in Barrow.....which is Dry so too bad for you Barack. Everyone dreams of a career like yours......which explains why there are no threads on any forum about Alaska. Who Cares?

Hiliarious Fubag. I guess that's why Southwest has been having trouble finding applicants. The career expectation differences from above are night and day. You honestly gonna disagree?

RF

Actually, Fubi is correct. Normally the joint contract is done prior to the SLI with arbitration, and at that point SWA and AT pilots would have equal expectations monetarily. The arbitrators at that point look to see what each side brings to the table, and if they have the same type planes and business ( Dom vs INTL), then they look at size of the operation, longevity, and then award an ISL. With your current views Red, I hope you get to do the opening statement to the panel if you guys do go that route. Popcorn ready!

Godspeed!

Excellent points, OYS. But SWA pukes don't get it because their whole argument for stealing AAI seniority is the fact that AAI guys are getting a pay raise.

As I've said before, its a SENIORITY list integration, not a PAY list integration.

And "no windfalls" doesn't apply to pay. It does apply to jumping over 650 of your future coworkers for an upgrade though.
