It's been an incredible ride boys... I'll miss the good old days. Let's keep it as much as it used to be and try to show our new union brothers and sisters how things should be. Just another chapter, not the end....
 
NJI is dead. Long live NJI.
 
I think some (not all) of the union boy's have a long way to go to show that they really welcome the NJI pilots. THE 5%er's have been pretty nasty at times, toward the NJI guy's, in a lot of way's, when the NJI guy's had nothing to do with how the company was set up. It appears these guy's were blaming the NJI pilot's for something they had no control of.
It is a SAD DAY for NJI. The culture will change and the once great job is now JUST a job. :(
I hope the union earns it's new found wealth.

P.S. To all the NJA guy's who welcome the NJI guy's, Thanks for being professional, I'm looking forward to flying with you.
 
Dirty, I think you'll find that the 95%ers are the guys and gals worth your time. Most of the folks on the A side know who the 5%ers are and don't like em either.
 
First off, welcome to the new NJA Gulfstream guys and gals. I realize that you're leaving behind a company that most of you loved. As one crossover pilot once told me "NJI is NetJets for adults". Don't be concerned about the 5%ers, the rest of us certainly aren't.

Although our corporate culture is sometimes goofy, you will learn to love NJA the way most of us do (of course with the glaring exception of about 495 of us). Hopefully we can adopt some of the better methods that you folks will be bringing with you.

We have no idea what communication has gone on between you guys and the union, so I have no idea what the plan is?

Just let me say alot of people are posting welcoming you and looking forward to the expertise your group brings to the table.

Did you fill out your membership info and register on the union web site? It will take a little time to verify and establish all the new accounts, but until then, welcome to the clan.

I've been registered on the integration web site for months and sent in my paperwork a while ago. BDubya said our permissions would update at midnight last night. Not so much.

Maybe I got furloughed when I wasn't looking....

Neither can I. But for different reasons.;)

If I was there I'd say "Welcome! Glad to have you." But since I'm not, I'll go pop another bag of corn and see how this plays out.

P.S. I assume that the company announced the final integration and that this is what this thread is about. But, again, I have not received anything stating such from NJA or NJASAP. As usual, breaking news from FI.com.:rolleyes:

Perhaps uneducated would be a better word. The amount of misinformation about the genesis and operation of NJI on the NJA side of the house has always been staggering.

Good final shots; the prior MGT set you up and then sold you out. NJA pilots and negotiators would never have prevailed without RTS's ok. Nothing either group does is really very special, there are thousands of pilots waiting to send in resumes. The owners would see little change in service if we turned over staff by 100%. If you are flying an Ultra or a 550, you are expendable, tomorrow. We really think too much of ourselves. It helps in the 13th hour of a long day but there is a line at the door.
Work hard, fly safe and hope it all lasts.

Did you post a refute to what you thought was BS/misinformation? The flashlight of truth will scurry a lot of rats. A little advice, think of our message board like a wild hog searching for truffles. There is a lot of great information to be found however, you have to root through a whole bunch mud to get to it.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I do urge you to join the conversation. Poor communication has got all of us into the situation we find ourselves in now. Being frank and open on our non-anonymous is the best way to get the two groups on the same page.
 
I still don't have access to the board for whatever reason. I'm referring to conversations with numerous NJA pilots over the years including a friend on the E-Board. I like the line about NJI being Netjets for adults. Seems like an accurate description.
 
Sack up boys! Let's let bygones be bygones. First rounds on me at the watering hole during the recurrent or on the road. When you get on the board (you'll get there GSD) I think you'll find there is more good than bad. Just ask Diesel.
