Nothing either group does is really very special, there are thousands of pilots waiting to send in resumes. The owners would see little change in service if we turned over staff by 100%. If you are flying an Ultra or a 550, you are expendable, tomorrow. We really think too much of ourselves.

There is one thing I'm going to miss over the last 3 years and that's "flexibility".

I think NJI fitted my understanding of one hand washing the other.

I was flexible when I needed to be. They were flexible when they needed to be.

All in all I was very happy although the last 6 months was like watching people play musical chairs.

I can honestly say there were 1 or two guys in managament who hated us being there, they made it very very clear, but what was funny was that the rest of the company made up for them. I'm enjoying watching them scramble now.

All in all i'll miss the flexibility. Its going to cost me about 20k a year not to have that back.

That's who I was refering to. Please go to the Union boards and explain to all of us what you lost. It might help clear lots of misconceptions for both groups. There have been lots of coded and inside types of inuendos regarding losses, and I'm all for becoming more aware, now that we can communicate in a more secure forum.
