Perhaps uneducated would be a better word. The amount of misinformation about the genesis and operation of NJI on the NJA side of the house has always been staggering.

Good final shots; the prior MGT set you up and then sold you out. NJA pilots and negotiators would never have prevailed without RTS's ok. Nothing either group does is really very special, there are thousands of pilots waiting to send in resumes. The owners would see little change in service if we turned over staff by 100%. If you are flying an Ultra or a 550, you are expendable, tomorrow. We really think too much of ourselves. It helps in the 13th hour of a long day but there is a line at the door.
Work hard, fly safe and hope it all lasts.

Welcome to the NEW NJA.

Did you post a refute to what you thought was BS/misinformation? The flashlight of truth will scurry a lot of rats. A little advice, think of our message board like a wild hog searching for truffles. There is a lot of great information to be found however, you have to root through a whole bunch mud to get to it.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I do urge you to join the conversation. Poor communication has got all of us into the situation we find ourselves in now. Being frank and open on our non-anonymous is the best way to get the two groups on the same page.

I still don't have access to the board for whatever reason. I'm referring to conversations with numerous NJA pilots over the years including a friend on the E-Board. I like the line about NJI being Netjets for adults. Seems like an accurate description.

Sack up boys! Let's let bygones be bygones. First rounds on me at the watering hole during the recurrent or on the road. When you get on the board (you'll get there GSD) I think you'll find there is more good than bad. Just ask Diesel.

The culture will change and the once great job is now JUST a job. :(

Sounds like NJA post RTS. Good news is that Delta will be hiring soon!

So true...I hear they have bigger and more complex airplanes than the G-whiz over there too!

Spare me GSD.

Wolf, I apologize for our vocal minority.

Like the two or three that found their way onto this thread? Fact of the matter is there are just disgruntled a-holes on both sides.

To the 98% of guys who are genuine and welcome me.... Thank you, and the feelings are returned.

To the other 2%.... I'm #1900-something on the list and I'm a GIV Captain... Na-nan-a-boo-boo! F'ers!

Ahh... and the threats begin.

The LOA is gone in August of 2012. ??? Really.

I will give NJASAP this; they have won every single battle in the war. So I don't doubt that management will roll over at some point in the future. I just love how you guys agreed to one thing... knowing full well you would attempt to change it down the road. That's called a Buddy F*cker in the Army.

No respect here... None.

The man speaks truth...

Wolfie,

Remember that is an incredibly small, idiotic minority who posted that crap about the integration. 99.9% of NJASAP is thrilled to see the company seeing reason by streamlining the operation (even though it has been painful for MANY families). NJI is welcomed.

Most of the posts you read had been refuted by cooler minds. Don't let stupid people piss you off. Pity them.

Thanks for proving that us 5% ers are RIGHT to NOT be happy with the way integration took place.

We are not pissed off at the NJI pilots. We are mad at how our leadership negotiated this hole process.

To come on here and say that we are uneducated is completely false.

Like they say on ESPN "Come on man". This is to both sides. Looks like both sides have their vocal minority trying to stir the pot. To the other 95% on both sides, ignore their babble and get on with your lives.

RTRHD I drank a case of bud lights in your honor and then i puked on myself in bed.

Also in your honor.

There is one thing I'm going to miss over the last 3 years and that's "flexibility".

I think NJI fitted my understanding of one hand washing the other.

I was flexible when I needed to be. They were flexible when they needed to be.

All in all I was very happy although the last 6 months was like watching people play musical chairs.

I can honestly say there were 1 or two guys in managament who hated us being there, they made it very very clear, but what was funny was that the rest of the company made up for them. I'm enjoying watching them scramble now.

All in all i'll miss the flexibility. Its going to cost me about 20k a year not to have that back.

FO of the year 3 years running.

How much did the furloughed folks lose while you were enjoying such "flexibility"?

No idea what you're talking about. But a lot of good NJI pilots got furloughed too.

That's who I was refering to. Please go to the Union boards and explain to all of us what you lost. It might help clear lots of misconceptions for both groups. There have been lots of coded and inside types of inuendos regarding losses, and I'm all for becoming more aware, now that we can communicate in a more secure forum.
