I'd like to hear some communication from the ASA MEC about who they are selecting to the Merger committee and why they chose them.

I agree. I applied for the position and haven't heard anything yet. They did say they had a lot of interest in the committee. Maybe they are still interviewing.

As long as we get doh, that sounds fair. You can bid to whatever opening you want, but you can't bump someone from there seat or domicile.

Because if it goes DOH the XJT guys will burn this fu$%ing place down.

Are we really going to burn this place down over a few PFTers losing a couple of percentage points on the list? Why don't we save the burn the place attitude for another time, like when we are in year 5 of contract negotiations and just voted to strike.

Burn it down then. Its not like your stock was worth anything anyway. XJT needs ASA a lot more than we need them. We'll be around either way. DOH all the way.

Doooooossh

and the guy rou replied to is a dooooshhhhh

Stop pizzing in the wind. These things are never DOH and...oh never mind, you short sighted idiots!!

The first post of this thread showed a seniority list based on Date of Hire. Can someone create a spreadsheet list that shows relative seniority scenarios. I would do it myself, but I don't know the relative seniority formulas that have been used historically. I think the MECs of both airlines should get off their asses and start sharing some possible integration lists based on a variety of scenarios, including DOH and common relative seniority formulas. After we see some potential outcomes, we can then decide if want to kill each other...
