i think every owner has the right to leave after just 2 years. njaowner?

JJ - I can only speak for the smaller sized shares but you are correct. I only know contracts up to the G200, but you can be out in 2 years. Hey -- this may be the first thing we have ever agreed upon!!

In my opinion, NJ will survive quite well. It has created a niche which will remain large and survive. Flying private is extremely addictive -- neither charter nor whole ownership make sense for me (and many others).

Fly safe.

True Gret, but if you take the time to read what he wrote, it's right on. GL won't bother because he is an idiot.

I have a unique perspective on this as I was a Delta 767ER Capt until late 2007 when I was forced to retire. I work for NJ now (until Jan 16). There are a few like the Gen at Delta (and most other carriers, I suspect). Thankfully, they are in the minority. They think they got to Delta because they were better than everyone else. In reality, Delta made a mistake hiring them.

Good post. Sorry they made you retire and you're getting laid off. They forced my dad to retire at 70, but he found another corporate gig and kept at it 'cause he loved flying. Good luck.
