Dude, EGPWS is not something you navigate with !!

I'm shocked. This is not even funny.

Stop taking words out of my mouth. Did I say I navigated with it? No.

Come on. Grow up...

Fisch, you have to understand that Flopgut has some serious insecurity issues. If he didn't then he wouldn't be making the silly posts that he has been. Sometimes you have to let those little fellas do their own thing.

Edit - PCL does too. If these guys were truly happy with their carriers and decisions in life then they wouldn't care what we silly fractional pilots think. At least, I don't really care what they think about my company because it really doesn't matter what they think.

I hear ya.

I just enjoy a good debate. B19 doesn't challenge me anymore as he has been making the same post for months now. It's nice to have new face to spar with. I don't take any of it personally. I hope they don't either, and I think everyone agrees that no one is going to change anyone's habits by posting on FI.com.

Ever been to Riverside California? Shhhh, Fisch. Don't tell him how fun that place is. :p

I don't know what you're talking about. ;)

Between the TSA, FAA inspectors, FBO owner, Mx, and Chief Pilot, I have never been on the radar with such a strong return! No challenges that day!!!

That was awesome.

Yeah, a Cessna. It was a cute little thing that cruised at altitudes up to 51,000 ft at .92M. It would eat your classic for lunch. I enjoyed it very much.

Yesterday:

ATC: Soutwest XXXX, say mach number.

SWA: Decimal 78.

ATC: Ok maintain mach 78 or better, you have a "Super" Citation in trail that has quite a bit of speed on you.

ATC: ExecJet 9XX , say mach number.

EJ: Decimal 915

ATC: Uhhhh, roger. Soutwest XXXX just maintain Mach 76 for now, he'll be passing you shortly.

Classic.

I would say that what you implied has everyone reading this who understands the terrain in SA less than inspired as to your knowledge/training.

The charts ARE confusing. Some of the charts have incomplete data (says so right on the chart).

I really don't want to have any technical speak with you guys. I'm sure you all have great training.

I've got days off right now, so I'm going to go into media fast mode.

Just want to say for the record: I do appreciate you frac guys/gals as professionals. Congrats on a great contract and I hope things do continue to go well for you. I'd rather you be able to taunt us airline types about pay/QOL than see you go through what we have. (many of you have, I know)

And, I was not hired in 83-85.

Well Flop...I will do what your company (CAL), your union (ALPA), your self respect ('83 hire), your profession (other pilots), your fellow 121 pilots (that you DO NOT represent), and the rest of this forum, has done to you...

Ignore you (ignore list)..enjoy the fog.

Yes, I do.

Ok. Forget the stinky lav.

Ever check the seat back pouches after even one leg? Ever look at all the dried face butter on the windows that won't even scrape off? The crusted carpet? Guessing the lunch 4 other passengers had on the tray table in front of me is always a favorite game too.

It this your problem as a pilot in the front? I dunno. Airlines used to have professional cleaners. Who's on 1st? I dunno. Don't care.

We are merely pointing out that we ride em all and all have been filthy. Urine, crumbs, gum, trash. Don't take it personally PCL... You can't save the world alone.

It's awesome.

Don't worry Flop. I hear that John and Martha King have a GREAT video series to help you with those tough Charts.

Sometimes you can use Sectional Charts to find volcanos BEFORE you fly into there ash!! And don't let all those FIRs and Upper Amber routes scare you. The Cubans only bite if you forget to call for the overflight.

Good luck!!
