Ok. So you're not as stupid as Fishman but STFU anyway because nobody gives a shlt what Warren paid for your economy class ticket.
I thought you guys said if we paid more than $99 we would get better service?

Huh...

i'm not saying you'll get shlt. Talk to the customer service department. Explain your expectations to "Dave" in New Delhi.

Having never flown corporate, I don't know the answer to this question, but do you guys really wipe down $hitters?

In all my corporate flying, never had to clean the lav...we did have a cleaning crew that jumped on it as soon as the tug pulled the airplane into the hanger though.

Thanks.

The only reason I corrected Fishman is because he had been a douch3 bag about spelling in another forum.

yoo has korekted me alot o tims in dis thered... yoor hi skool englsh teecher atitud is sum BS....

If you want to correct English go do some grammar
teaching... otherwise keep it to the topic

as far as the lav is concerned on the XL at NJ... I will tip the line guy that dumps the lav to wipe it down.

If the lav needs a wipe down, it is no different than wiping the tray table on your airliner (or rj) they are both just as nasty... Hell I have never seen a lav on a NJ XL that looked anything like what I saw SITTING IN MY SEAT ON THAT GO JET FLIGHT (SMEGMA) THAT IS WHAT THIS WHOLE THREAD WAS STARTED FOR....

WHAT A FULL CIRCLE THREAD... MY LAV IS MORE SANITARY THAN YOUR PAX SEAT

Could it be that you find the plss and shlt of rich people to be somehow more wonderful? In that case, maybe the smegma of the first class section would have been more to your liking. Why don't you ask your company if they could get you a first class ticket next time?

Oh yea. But wouldn't it be more like "middel skool english teecher atitud?" You might be giving yourself too much credit here.

Well, let's see here...We have 29 minutes from the time we set the brake to get the pax off..cross seat belts..clean up after them (they usually leave plenty behind)..run in and try to find a computer to get the next flight release...go back to the plane and go through all of the wx (make sure the alternate is legal etc..) and make sure we have the proper fuel load and that comissary has come (and put away) and start loading for the next leg.....I'll see if I can find those 3 minutes to clean that lav and spray febreeze down the isle on my way back...Oh, and none of the crew has had time to eat today!!

Take as much time as you need to get your job done SAFLEY!!! I cant count how many times I told crew sched that i was going to go get food and delayed a flight when i was at a regional. ITs a safety of flight issue the way i look at it.

A united Capt refused an A/C out of DEN thursday because it was so filthy there were cockroaches in the plane. The company refused to do anything about it so he refused to accept the plane.

I dont think your chief pilot is going to say anything to you if your reason for a delay is checking your release because the dispatchers suck. Grow a pair and exercise your PIC authority!!!!

My company purchased me a mid tour ticket on UA and I happed to get a leg on Go jet from IAD to ORF. This is my first Go Jet experience and let me tell you it was a just that an experience... I can only hope that from a customers point of view that if UA gets enough letters like this they will send Go Jet right where they belong.. into the history books as a failed airline....

Here is the brief email I sent to UA and Gojet... :

I was on flight 5386 from IAD to ORF December 22, 2008. I was disgusted by the condition of the airplane that was used for this flight. As a professional pilot and former FAR 121 airline pilot I can attest to the condition that an airplane should be in when handeling passengers. A few of the items I viewed were as follows: First the carpet along the aisle was fraid and torn, both seat back pockets in my row were bulked out with garbage. There was gum and some kind of smegma stuck to the seat in front of me. The tray table looked like a science experiment with coffee food and soda stains. The window had so much head grease on it that you could not see out of the window, it looked as if you were to open your eyes underwater without goggles on. There was sticky stuff all over the seat and completly unsanitary. Prior to pushing from the gate the flight attendants made an announcement that all beverages brought on to the airplane including coffee, soda, water etc. purchased in the concourse was prohibited and had to be collected per FAA regulation (this is completly false). Upon arriving at the gate at 9;45 local, the flight attendant announced the local time as 14:30 local, then 0730 local and then after asking the passengers what time it was she announce the correct local time. I took photos of the condition of the airplane for proof of my claims.

You are so brave.

They don't seem to miss as much as most of us. The only time I've seen a really messy lav is after hauling a bunch of kids around. No big deal in that case, call in the pro cleaners.

I really don't get your deal man. We understand that riding on an airline is using a mass transportation system. Problem is that no one should have to ride in an unsanitary airplane.

As far as your living the dream comment.. I work for a company that treats me well and compensates me fairly. This year I spent less than half the time at work as I did last year and made more than double what I did at a regional. Other than possibly some jealousy, I really don't see what your point is, or why you're on a "screw NJA pilots" kick.

I spent enough time on the other side of the fence to know that the vast majority of NJA pilots sit down, shut up, and hang on like the rest of the pax. In four years of airline flying there was one out of hundreds of frac guys who were pax on an airplane I was flying who made a scene about anything. It was also handled in a successful manner outside the airplane among his peers and the two of us up front.

Let it rest man. We all do the same job...
