Didn't the east agree to regional-style Stand Up overnights? (that the east was a bunch of "stand-up guys" was a HUGE misunderstanding). They hardly get to see the hotel room, why complain?

Not too sure about the standups, but I do know that their "premium flying " to Europe, as they are so fond of calling it; includes 24 hr overnights with no "long rate" rig. Just $1.99 /hr per diem while they take in the sights...... Nice, huh?

It's quite nice really.

Head for work about 4pm. One leg with an augmented crew means a 2 hour nap enroute. 24 hours off to sleep and decided the vital 'where to have dinner' conundrum. One leg home ( nap #2 ), land around 3pm and home in time for dinner.
24 hours later, repeat as needed.

Well, what does it pay?

So you guys had better, pre merger?

Also, if you guys don't want it, then why not express that to the company and they can fence this flying off....one problem solved :)

Your seniority is only as good as the company you work for. Case in point; what did your "seniority" buy you on 5/18/05 at AAA?

Here we go again with the PFT crowd talking about "buying" in order to leap frog years of service.

The PFT generation of the 90's love buying their way to the top at the expense of others who stuck it out and paid their dues.
