And if you do so on final approach, you're an incompetent moron. What's the point here? Some would argue that you can barrel roll an airplane without exceeding any design limits (note I did not say operational limits). Are you advocating that inside the marker too?

BTW - I've never flown an aircraft with a red arc on the airspeed indicator, and most turbojets have a barber pole, not a redline (though the 500 series Citations I'm familiar with actually have two redlines).

I just feel sorry for this guy's copilot. The poor guy was trying to do the right thing in keeping the operation moving, but his idiot CA stopped him. The DAL crew reacted appropriately.

On this given day, one dipsh!t citation crew couldn't play nice and one Delta 757 had to go around. The citation guys (rightfully so) were offended when the Delta guys called them out on the radio. The Delta guys (rightfully so) were annoyed at the go around because one or both of them missed their commute flight/dinner break/one chance to take a decent crap all day.

Go-arounds, much like Sh!t, happen.... daily. Only on flightinfo could one go-around add up to twelve pages of absolutely wasted bandwidth.

Amazing.

If so, try to keep this thread in mind when you are following a Citation on final in the CRJ-200 at MGLW, slowed back to Vapp (147KIAS), at the end of a four day, after a reduced rest overnight, on your 7th leg of the day and you end up going around for spacing. (yes, I know that was a run on sentence).

Lighten up. Everone gets tired and cranky from time to time.

I understand. I've been on the other end of this too, it sucks, but I never got nasty on the radio though.

Since this, we've been looking at changing our SOPs to allow for more flexibility in these situations.

The ALPA EC just passed a resolution to start selling these as part of the new merger policy.....In addition to helping with the mergers it will generate some much needed income.....

They come in 2 sizes....One for mainline pilots and one for regionals....The regional version is only capable of deflecting 76 turds or less.....
