Not that it means much, but they did elude to the fact that it will be Pinnacle Airlines, Inc and not Colgan flying these birds in ground school today...

Take that for what it's worth.. ;)

You went from Regions to Pinnacle? Man, you really are a glutton for punishment. ;)

Yeh, I like it raw.. ;)

I have seen your "legacy" payrates. You fly the same schedules Mesaba pilots do. It's not too much of a stretch to say that the DC-9 pilots are now the highest paid commuter pilots. Except they fly an airplane that isn't made in Canada or Brazil.

Then I won't see any MSA or PCL pilots interviewing at NWA later this year?

Care to wager on that?

There must be something there, else we wouldn't have a need to protect it.

Let's all be clear. The regional pilots do not want to do your job for a nickle less than you already do it.

Then we're all agreed! There is no threat. No Airlink pilot is willing to fly the DC-9 for $123/hr. That's settled.

Glad to hear it!

yes the pay rates are better at the majors, gee thats why everyone wants to go there. Oh and the chance to fly bigger planes....which means more pay again. Oh and the lack of the whipsaw. But I can see that in the future that the 9s are being replaced by 900's and those 175's. When the scope is at its limit, NWA will throw a carrot to the senior NWA guys and say.......here we will order 20 more 787's if you allow us to have 100 more 76 seaters at the regionals......those senior guys, if history repeats itself will bend over backwards to screw their junior guys.

Wrong, genius.

Note... the holding company, Pinnacle Airlines Corp is specifically referenced at the very beginning as the source of the announcement.

Note... at the END of the paragraph, it states who they are going to. Here's the tricky part,,, I know it's a stretch, but try to follow me here:

NOT the holding company, NOT Pinnacle Corp, but Pinnacle AIRLINES, Inc.

Additionally, Colgan doesn't have any jets (note above "wholly owned regional jet subsidiary").

They're going to -9E.

You might do some research before you open your mouth and disperse any doubts about your stupidity.

See above, Einstein.

Again, not too swift on the uptake, are ya'?

I've been at AirTran for over a year now...

BRILLIANT!

"EXPECT"...That's the key.

The word EXPECT is what the negotiators are using as a carrot.

Don't hate me because of your situation.

And it won't work, just like the removal of the 50-seaters didn't work. The PCL guys are doing exactly what they SHOULD be doing,,, flying the line and refusing to cow-toe to management demands in their new contract.

Great job, guys!

Don't hate me because of your situation.
I don't. You're nowhere. I'm at a major getting 16-18 days off with commutable trips making the same thing I was as a PCL CA and will upgrade in 2-3 more years and double that income.

pay lear no attention. He is compensating for having to fly with younger captains and an unsatisfied wife.
Have only flown with one of those here, and of course the wife is unsatisfied. She only gets me 18 nights a month and wants my skillz 24/7! :D

Skillz, boy,,, I gots SKILLZ! ;)

Single Carrier Status is the notice that the pilot gorups would be combined.

So you're asserting that ALPA attorneys were misleading the Comair and ASA MECs prior to the 2000 PID filing.

Isn't malpractice justification for disbarment?

No..I'm asserting that YOU don't know what you're talking about!

YOU told us that a Single Carrier Status petition meant NWA pilots were merely asking for Mesaba and Compass pilots to be represented by ALPA. I pointed out that YOU were wrong.

I'm not sure who actually writes your RJDC talking points, but I think an audit of all the money you've thrown down that rat hole is in order...cuz they are giving you bad dope.

Unless, of course, you think you're correct...which would mean Mesaba pilots won't be represented by ALPA until the Northwest MEC acts on the deferred resolution later this year.

*snicker*

Isn't malpractice justification for disbarment?

Yes...but as you've indicated, nothing happens anywhere on this planet unless the NWA MEC votes on it!

Lear:

Although I truly enjoy the imagery generated by the expression "cow-toe",
I think you might have been aiming for "kowtow".

Sorry to interrupt.
