Congratufrackinglations To Taildraggerpilot!!!:):):)

Tram-I know when way2broke left. See, for all of their history crapex had not enforced the training contract. In the year before w2b and others left somewhere between 90 and 120 FO's had left without paying a dime with less than one year in.

The issue is that they had never enforced it. They mistakenly thought that if they did it would solve the turnover problem. That was their mistake...if the place equates to the basement of an outhouse on more or less equal terms there is a percentage of people that posess enough self respect to pay to leave! There is another percentage that realizes that it isn't what they signed up of and dare them to come and get their money.

My class didn't sign-course they wanted ten and only got four, on the other hand we all put more than our share of time in cause at first there was hope. A couple of years ago there was one class that was out on the line flying already. They had contracts sent out to them and were told that if they didn't sign they would be removed from flight status-that is called being put under duress...even though the contract said something about not being under duress near the signature block. In fact, the "sign or go home" puts people under duress since they have already quit a job to go there. I know a few things that you don't about this whole crapex crookedness. While I understand meeting your obligations as a point of honor the company you work for does not- it has proven time and again that they will not deal with their employees on that same high level of honor.

Of course by now you know that...

How do you tell a real airline from an outfit? A real airline has all its airplanes painted the same way...Regions is an outfit. Some of the best people in the world to fly with, the crews, but they work for an outfit!

Who the hell is "Regions" and why have I never seen them on any lists before. There is nothing on them at airlinepilotcentral or pilotjobs. WTF?!

Callsign "Corpex", Formerly Corporate Airlines, Formerly Corporate Express (not to be confused with a freight company or an office supply store of the same name).

They fly jetstream 32's out of STL. I won't mention the saabs cause they are going away from all indications. They depend on Essential Air Service money to fly to places you probably have never heard of up and down the Mississippi.

I know that someone (not me) once posted something on some board that is about worst airlines to work for...they can't afford to advertise for pilots most of the time. They haven't been able to afford to give the crews a raise since mid 2002.

I hope that this answers your question. For the most part the crews are the best of the best to work with. The organization as a whole is the exact opposite.

Regions...not to be confused with the bank.... The bank actually has money.

Will be staying in the Marriott Hotel @ BNA and having the interview with her and DO over breakfast at my hotel. No sim ride due to shortness of time to training class.

Did anyone else catch this? Can that even be considered a interview?

Yeah...wonder if the interview is just before class starts. I know of one guy that was hired years ago-they really needed him in class so they bought him clothes to wear in class cause he had just come for the day-

bet that won't happen now...

What's the rush? What are they trying to hide from the guy? Surely they have enough money to get a cab for the guy so he could at least go to HQ and view the facilities. It would probably extend things by a whole hour and a half.

If I may reference an old chestnut, normally I'd take the butchers word for it, but in this case, you'll definitely want to get your head up that cow's backside and take a look around.

Cow referring to the airline in general and no one in particular

It's not a matter of whether or not they enforced it..

If you sign your name on the line that says "If I leave, before a year is up, I will pay X amount of money back.." and then you leave before that year is up.. Your bitching should be non-existent..

Sorta like throwing a fit about getting a ticket for speeding.. How many people speed on a daily basis without getting nabbed? A bunch.. Every now and then, someone gets nailed..
