This feels so much like old times.. a cold war... but I'll give it to yall.... try to spread your propoganda till the end ,but hey when you back your truck to my airplane.. don't scratch the paint job..please

I don't think that you would notice another scratch anyways. Your planes and ours need paint badly!!!

I talked to one of Ameristars mechanics this morning before my departure. He told me about JUS problems a few weeks ago and that thiings will change overthere drastically after Jan first (rumour off-course and 2nd hand to boot). He told me that his own company Ameristar was only in business because of 1 primary customer and hanging on by a thread.

So no need to bash JUS or tell JUS pilots that Ameristar is better. All of us FR8 dogs are just hanging in there and should support eachother. And BTW all of us FR8 dogs work for bottom feeders. I seriously doubt that one is really that much better then another. They're all the same unfortunately.

Still no reply?? Who is your primary customer??

Like I said IFL is doing your best trips in their shiny 20's with Garrett because GM wants it that way and there is nothing you can do about it or otherwise you will lose your best customer...and when you can get it your way and IFL 20 are involved you oblige them to clear cusom in yip when they can go non stop to destination and being cleared from the departure point, you try to tell them to do fuel stops so when GM looks at the flight tracker thinks that this is one of your airplanes, and by the way we have more than 1 customer on which we depend on.

Pork,

I don't know. Didn't ask. I don't fly for JUS or Ameristar. Just saying that JUS is in worse a shape than Ameristar. But also saying that Ameristar is in no way in great shape.

Both of you guy's are barely hanging on. Flying the same planes and based at the same field. WTF man. No need to bash either company or pilot group.

I still keep in touch with the boys from Willow at USA Jet. It sounds a lot like the newer management doesn't want an airline anymore and that is the end of it. USA Jet was a great place to work. Freight sucks all around, but unless you flew for more than one carrier and then came to USA Jet back in the day you would never understand.

As for who is the best freight dogs out there....well that is a hard one. I would have to say it wasn't USA Jet....mostly becuase they tried to play by the rules and treated the pilots with respect. But I think the best freight doggies are probably Ameristar. They really know how to push it. When I flew for Ameristar I was put in the penalty box a few times for landing for fuel and buying too much. I was told by Tom himself that you only need enough fuel to taxi to the FBO! (I prefered 1500 reserve in the Falcon) And then I wrote an airplane up and another pilot came in the middle of the night, ripped up my write up and took my bird....that's when I came to USA Jet. So there you go, you want to know who the best air pirates are...hands down to Ameristar! And that's why you are still in business and until the FAA comes down hard, which they probably won't or you crash another plane and kill more pilots....Ameristar will be fine. But if you liked being treated like a professional pilot, maintenence done correctly and flying good planes, excellent training, then you just can't beat USA Jet. If it's not your thing...and I met many pilots over the years that wouldn't fit there at JUS...some guys like the cowboyness of the other places. Then have a ball at Ameristar or Royal or where ever.

This has been a really great thread however, but there you go. The best place to work...if it stays in business is USA Jet. But you Ameristar guys are really great air pirates, which is a huge compliment by the way. Well now that Rasmark is gone.

Happy? Now move on!

:pimp:

And speaking of the true air pirates...what ever happened to Weaver?

The fact of the matter is that Jus is going down because active aero prefers to make money off of other carriers, rather than fly their own planes. Active Aero is the one that makes all the money in this industry and allows all the other companies to get into price wars in order to fly. the lower the price goes the more money AA makes out of the trips. sound's pretty smart to me!!! As long as there is competition in this industry there will alwasy be pilots having my dick is bigger than yours competitions. only way Jus can compete with the rest of us is by wearing monkey suits and taking viagra. 9k brought up a good point. If your such a great company why do all the fbo's hate you? Ive talked to several fbo workers and they all say the same thing about you. they are arrogant sob's who think they are better than everyone else. pilotyips only defense is that they dont have a turnover rate and most guys stay at jus for a long time!! news flash all your pilots are too old to get better jobs or are happy not flying and staying home with their families. have you ever seen a jus crew out somewhere with anyone else??? never!! but i have had many meals, drinks, and hung out with guys from every other freight company. its the same everywhere you do your time and move on but i guess in jus case they just stay and pick fights with guys that do the same ******************** better than they do. its funny that the only smack talking is about Jus vs Aji. the fact that you guys started this thread back up to talk crap is a insult to the victims of that crash and I hope when you die someone digs you up just to piss on your casket. If you wanna continue this BS on another thread be my guest.

The FBO's are only mad because Active Aero is paying for them to get their lazy a$$'s in the DC-9 and Falcon to load and unload. They are just mad that they have to do their job they are paid to do. I have hung out with crews from many other companies including yours, we have some pilots that retreat to their rooms and never come out. The pilots have nothing to do with this JUS v.s. AJI it is management and their battle, its above my paygrade. Fly safe.

Hey CRUXX:

How many times did you fly Perryville to Ogden non-stop and land with less than 1500, 20 30? "by the way Lou died a couple of years ago, good man!". Don't remember team T and T out there pointing a gun at you to do it. In fact I remember you sitting in the hotel in Chester drinking beer and laughing about all the money you were making. This is not the forum for specifics but I personally saw you do some of the things that you are bashing AJI pilots for. So do not pee on my leg and tell me it is raining and do not tell me you left AJI to take the moral high ground. You were a pirate just like the rest of us, dangerous cowboy no but a pirate non the less.

I am not saying the things you mention AJI doing to you are not true, I just do not have any personal experience with it. I am not suggesting one company is better than the other I do not really care. I just see a little hypocrisy going on here.

I have said it before and I will say it again alot has changed in the near decade since you left.

I always had a good time flying with you buddy and you are a first class stick. Glad you are at Spirit and hope life is good

The GRINGO!

This is the world according to a JUS pilot that never pumped fuel. I can think of quite a few FBO's where the line guys bust their a$$ when we are there. If they dont bust a$$ when JUS is there then its likely due to the fact that you think they are a substandard life form and treat them like so. Like I said before...JUS has walked around high and mighty for too long...and the whole aviation cargo industry is tired of it.

PS...Tell you management to stop selling trips they can afford to pay for. JUS's IOU letters are hard to cash these days. (And yes, we were there on time)
