I could have tried to make the same move, if I'd wanted to do so. I may end up there one of these days anyway. At the time that some of my other options woulda/shoulda/coulda been considered I've been happily employed, with LCC as a backup plan that would seemingly never reach the jeopardy stage. Now that it's here and it offers some measurable benefits (at the expense of others) if I return it's become a lot more serious of an issue.
But that's all beside the point. If you guys (not so much you in particular phxflyr) don't wanna listen to us work through this then simply stop reading. Don't take shots just because you're better off and/or can't relate to what we're dealing with right now.
Some of you guys have been helpful. Thank you for that.
Hey...you're welcome. Glad to hear I was more of a help rather than a hinderence. Although that kinda comes as a shock to Mama and the kids (they think my people skills suck! ). You know.I'm no shrink so take this for what its worth.but there are 2 things I ve noticed in your posts and Furloughed again's missives. First ,I think you guys are reaching the crossover point where you are starting to over analyze everything. No doubt you both have been thru the ringer the last several years and I too would be leery of going back, but by the same token you don't want to suffer from "paralysis by analysis",either. Sooner or later you're gonna have to stop asking questions, make your decision, hold your breath, and take the plunge. Also if you do decide to come back, maybe it would be better if you came back with the mindset that it isnt the same airline that you left, nor is it the nightmare that you think it is. This way, you have no pre-conceived notions as to what to expect. Anyway just some thoughts and observations.Good luck with your decision. Keep us posted on what you guys decide.
