Let me help you out.

Integration of the two airlines will require fair and equitable integration of the seniority list as stated in Allegheny-Mohawk and negotiation of labor agreements applicable to the combined operation.

Notice how Gary said "INTEGRATION of the two airlines will REQUIRE fair and equitable integration of the seniority list?" Read that again. Then read it again.

This aint going to arbitration.

This is like herding cats... Enlighten me as to your personal opinion of fair an equitable.

BTW, I agree with CarlP that in 5 years, hell I say today, you wouldn't be able to tell us apart if you took the uniform off. Aitran pilots have the same DNA as Southwest pilots and I'm sure we'll all work well together.

I agree. I got many-o-homeboy over there at WN, all great guys, all great sticks. A certain fondness for a few WN fa's as well. I don't get too wrapped around the axle over all this nonsense here.

What DNA is that? Paying for their jobs? Working for 20-40% less than their peers? Fonzie jackets?

Something that won't push my upgrade to never in a no growth environment. Something that won't change my list percentage at retirement. Something that won't hit me in the paycheck and QOL in the form of decreased relative seniority as my career progresses because of the demographic differances berween the two pilot groups. Fair and equitable cuts both ways. I don't expect to gain here but I do expect not to lose.

When I retire I'll be around number 100. If you put 400 guys above me, mostly younger than me , when I retire I'll be around number 500 instead of number 100. So, yes, I will be harmed. That's just me personally, compound that problem for the FO's. Sorry, DOH is a non-starter and Relative is dreamland.

Got you beat. I would or will be around #10

So NW captains are jerking gear for DL F/O's?

Funny stuff...

My friend lost his Captain seat. He is currently pulling gear.
