RLA,

Brilliant! The smart thing for all of us to do is follow your example and let our teams speak for our interests.

The history of Southwest Airlines is written in shared success; sounds like a good formula for the future.

Yes, you like this attitude. Do you think he really is a SWA pilot in disguise? Sounds like it. I bet you want them to accept SWAPA's offers, which will no doubt be less than what arbitrators would give. I can see why you love this guy! The problem is, nobody knows if anyone on the negotiating committees want to eventually be officers at SWAPA. Sometimes that leads to bad deals, sometimes. Arbitration will be fair, because there is no bias, and no gain for the arbitrators except the standard fee. Brilliant! Cheers Mate, have a Fosters, Australian for Beer MATE!

General Lee,
You must be the loneliest, dorkiest, and homeliest individual on the entire web. How can someone spend sooooo much time on the internet and still have a normal social life?! What I find incredibly funny is that 99% of all human beings only spend time on events that affect them directly (or somewhat indirectly). You, however, hang out in the SWA/AAI threads with no "dog in the fight". Go feed your hamster, polish your pocket protector, or go watch some more Japanese animated cartoons. Pleeeeeeeeeease, for the love of all things Holy, NOBODY GIVES A CRAP WHAT YOU THINK (except for you and your sock puppet). Geeeeeeesh!

Thanks I needed the laugh. Yes, what he said.

WRONG ON ALL COUNTS. THIS IS AN OPINION BOARD. Did you know that? If you only want Southwest pilots to read something, go to an exclusive board. You can make one yourself, and call it "Navy 737's Blue Oyster club, for hairy singles." I bet you'd have Redflyer, Momma Gup, Southwest F/O, and others all over that.

I enjoy this board, aviation debate, and the industry. Got it? Now get some sleep before your 6am flight to MAF tomorrow. (ZZZZZZ BORING)

Did milk come out of your nose, too? Hahahahaha. Go give up some seniority while you're at it, you turncoat. Are trying to join the SWAPA MEC? You'll do whatever it takes to do that, right? Will you hold Redflyer's hand? That would be cool for you guys. Now that will be BRILLIANT!!!! And look up the Foster's commercial on the internet while you're at it.

GL, feel like posting your schedule on here? I just don't believe someone who does all of this international flying could possibly post as much as you. Everyday, almost everyhour you are on here. Me starting to think your schedule involves home schooling.

So, I am on here during weird hours too? Maybe I am flying somewhere far away, where it could be 9am there, and 3am here? Or, maybe it is 6pm there, and 1am where you are? Sounds like INTL flying to me. And yes, I have a computer with me, but some resorts in the Pacific rim don't have great connections. (very isolated beaches, but very nice) I try to mix it up with desitinations. Now that we do Asia stuff, I fly some trips with Guam, Saipan, and Palau layovers, and I alternate that with Europe and some South America stuff too (Rio usually). Thanks for caring, though.

What is this about "Herb time" at SWA? Every dep and arr is posted on your own schedules at Dallas Love time or CST? Interesting.

Post of the year. Perfect :)

GL and his agenda. You are worst than fox news. Gen you just hate SWA.

I do not. I think you have great pay and benefits, great stews, and a good relationship (currently) with your management. That is FANTASTIC. But, what I don't like are overly cocky people that think they deserve to push one group to the bottom of a list, can't see the other group's value, and do all of this with an uppity attitude all while flying one plane type on multiple leg days, most of the time between boring city pairs. If none of that descibes any of you, then count yourselves as MY NEW BEST FRIENDS. No agenda here.

General, the Trannies are now our Brothers and Sisters (Step)... everything is "happy here" - we don't need your help here.

All this talk of "Trannies" and "step brothers and sisters" .... It's starting to make me feel a little funny. To keep myself on track I referred to the words of General Jack Ripper:

"Women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid them. But I... I do deny them my essence."

Replace your precious bodily fluids. Drink only rain water and pure grain alcohol. We'll all be ok. :)

Wanna get rid of general herpes. do what I did and put him on your ignore list. The sores go away quickly and life is much better.

Does anyone really want this to go to arbitration? I think we should work this out at all costs without sending it to someone with no stake in the outcome. You have no control once you take that step and I believe we can achieve a fair integration without goi g to arbitration.

BINGO! We have a winner!!! Yes, I agree with this statement.

You're "Gary" the CEO.

You just a bought a company and don't want problems like USAIR.

You see the labor negotiations going to arbitration with a labor force you just hired that voted overwelmingly to strike.

What does "Gary" do when the arbitration award comes out and see's a younger work force placed over his own employee's?

It is in everyone's best interest to negotiate this deal, not arbitrate.

Those of you thinking you'll be better off with arbitration need to review you're airlines history. "Winning" the arbitration could result in "Losing" the deal.

Hold the Phone!

Wait a minute. You mean to tell me....

...There are actually people creating posts who have a stake in the game;

...Who are actually being constructive;

...Who actually hope for the best outcome on both sides;

...Who actually want a positive outcome for the company and its culture going forward.

Is this Flight Info? Somebody wake me up!

You write but yet i don't think see a thing you have write. :)

SWA people dept. needs you in the FA hiring dept. :)

People who put me or the General on ignore just don't want to accept the truth. That's fine, but some people do want to hear about options that will help their future seniority. Arbitration will do that. There is NO WAY a negotiated agreement will be more fair than a non biased one from arbitrators, that have no stake in the outcome themselves. Seniority is forever, and you will get the Southwest pay from management anyways. SWAPA will not be losing one dime in this deal. Arbitration is smart. Do it.
