What you just said does not make a lick of sense. So you are complaining that such a large organization is spending 4.3 mil on payroll per year to serve all ALPA carriers (and non ALPA pilots as well since we lobby for everyone). Why dont you post what managemnt payroll per year is and what their stock options and retirement packages are.

Skywest is making so much money and poor ALPA is after it. You dont even know how the system works you. Your MEC reps have to take time away from flying to work for you, do you expect them to work for free? Just as usual, empty rhetoric.

Oh yeah ALPA is the answer. They have done some much for all of us.
They, who are they? You the pilot is ALPA. How many meetings have you gone to. have you tried running for any positions in the union? ALPA pilots have done alot for the group, union or non-union.

Well they are certainly not working for me.

BTW The health insurance is paid by you on a group rate
Not at the ALPA carrier I work for and probably many others. The company still pays a portion of it. Thats why if we decide to not have the insurance the company puts a certain amount of money per month per person (I think $50) in a health savings account and you can use it for anything health related. Keep spinnin and hatin.

4.3 million would be somewhere near acceptable........the actual figure is 43.8 million.

What does Duane Woerthless do exactly? Apart from play part time TV personality?

The only way to truely stop the whipsaw effect is to form one collective bargaining unit to negotiate one contract amongst the ASA/SKW pilot group. Think of it this way, why should SKW/ASA have different contracts flying the same eq for the same parent company?
