I took a six month LOA and when I came back...it was a recurrent class and PC. But, the only real way to know is contact the SYX annex of the Kool-Aide Palace.

I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken;)

So has anybody actually read all of these posts? Or is this like the community outhouse where they figure if they haven't dropped their load, this would be a great thread to do it in. :)

Reading previous posts? WHY? Why live in the past, it's all about the here and now...this is the new me generation! Give me that shiny RJ, crap for pay, and I'll happily undercut the rest of the industry.

BTW, NWA is still muttering the L word. The Tim's plan to buy out the failing carrier could be starting to come together!

isnt that what we are doing now?

I was told by unidentified sources that our lovely 1900s will be toast by year end. Really? Perhaps all of our rumors are working together to form some kind of reality?

If all the 1900's go, I was told Skyway wouldn't be competetive enough to hold the EAS contract for KESC.....any idea who that flying might go to if that happens?

Colgan? I know Menards have a couple 1900s... Im sure some of our Ds will be around longer than the end of the year. Like I said....3 years, 8months, 3weeks, 5 days, 16 hours and 32 seconds..errr 38 seconds...I stand corrected myf!

Until they picked up these latest EAS contracts, they didn't feel having the contracts were worth the effort. I think it was the guaranteed income after 9/11 that enticed management. At one point, I'd heard rumors that management didn't like EAS contracts and wasn't planning to re-bid for them.

I don't believe for a second that the Beeches will be gone by the end of 2006. At the absolute earliest, the end of 2007. If they were seriously going to get rid of the 1900's then why would they continue to have new hire classes going to the 1900? I hear there is a class of 15 new hires starting Feb 13th for the Beech. I also recently heard in the crew room that GRB is going to be a 328 overnight starting in May and that Midwest is going to overnight a 717 in MSN which is interesting.

Have you heard anything about this Greenpickle?

I heard that they were going to be putting a 17 over in MSN due to the fact that they don't have the space at MKE. I guess they are running out of places to park...just what I was told. I did hear the same regarding GRB.

I have heard nothing on the GRB overnight. I have heard nothing about a 717 in MSN. Since I know some people that know some people that train some people, I found out that there is a INH class in Feb on the 13th with a undetermined number of people. I also know that SYX did interviews in North Dakota last week and that Steph is still interviewing.

Finally, I know that they will not get rid of the 1900s. I told GV that I wont fly the jet and that they are gonna have to choose between "loosing me or loosing the Beech". GV then said to me, and I quote, "Well, with that information it is clear to me on which way our company should go."

You can all thank me later for saving the beech.

Good Bye GP;) Well I for one am very happy to hear said information. I hope they don't take GRB away from us as an RON. Now MSN, they can have that short overnight. It would be nice if it were longer for us, of course then that leads to potential trouble down on state street and east wash if we had any more than 10 hrs;)
