I thought SYX was going to take over all the 717 flying as we phase out the 1900s and 328s because ME was converting to an all 737 fleet. Apparently their expansion efforts to KC is the driving force behind all this? However...I could be wrong. I blame loopy not-in-the-know FOs http://forums.flightinfo.com/images/icons/icon26.gif
The 757's are part of an all Boeing fleet plan for the company. It works hand in hand with the hostile take over of NWA and co-opting all the best routes. Other routes and excess gates at major airports will be up for auction. All the NWA and Pinnicle iron will get sold to make new beer cans or returned to lease holders. The SYX 328 and 1900's will be the first to go as those crews transition to 717's.
