Interesting, the website has been updated!
RegionsAir is planning to resume operations in the near future.
We are now accepting resumes from pilots to staff flight

Sign-on bonuses of $2500 to $5000 are offered to qualified
and current Jetstream 31/32/41 and Saab 340 applicants.

What's the scoop? Who is AEI aviation?

Hmmm, curiouser and curiouser.

So I started wondering about this new RegionsAir website update. The domain in the email is listed as aeiaviation.com. The www.aeiaviation.com website is basically the same as what resides at www.regionsair.com at the moment. So I ran a WHOIS on the aeiaviation.com domain, and it comes back as registered through Domains By Proxy, which is a popular service among those who wish to keep their domain registration anonymous.

Interesting.

The IP address of aeiaviation.com (65.99.238.95) resolves to host.sleepingstocks.com, who I've never heard of and doesn't tell me anything. So I ran 65.99.238.95 through a reverse IP service to see what other domains are associated with it, and here's what I got:

65.99.238.95 - IP hosts 10 Total Domains ...
Showing 1 - 10 out of 10

Domain Name
1 AEIAERO.COM.
2 AEIAVIATION.COM.
3 AEROESTRELLA.COM.
4 ESTRELLAAIR.COM.
5 FLYAED.COM.
6 FLYECAIR.COM.
7 FLYVIVA.COM.
8 PASYL.COM.
9 SLEEPINGSTOCKS.COM.
10 SOUTHLANDHOLDINGCORP.COM

Well holy crap, it's our old friends over at Viva International! But is it really? Seems that Viva International acquired a company called Riverhawk Aviation in September of last year. Riverhawk appears to be a maintenance/charter outfit based out of San Antonio. Since then, they've been calling themselves "Riverhawk Aviation (Formerly Viva International)." Well, at least they were calling themselves that until May of this year, when they sold off both Viva and Eastern Caribbean Airlines to Southland Holding Corporation. From Southland's website, it appears that they will be operating passenger service in the Caribbean under the Viva and Eastern Caribbean names. As part of the deal, Southland assumed liability for several legal proceedings against Viva, including one from its former chief pilot over unpaid wages/expenses.

Did Viva end up with RegionsAir after all? Looks that way to me.

Wonder if the 3 on 4 off schedules will come back.. ;)

Well, that has only been going on for a year and a half...

I wonder how long you would have to stick around to get the $5000?

hehehe...

Oops, noone is current in a jball now. They probably wouldn't like it since I can't rotate till better than 145kts anyhow!

They have some way serious problems to overcome-payscales and so on. Besides who wants to commute to PR? Yeaaach!

It's like a train wreck.. You can't help but watch..

Great sleuthing work, Berkut! You could moonlight as a CyberPI!
Moonlighting would require that I have a job in the first place.

It's well known on the street that AV80R's lady digs his massive back hair

Wrooong, it's the swenglish meatballs :D By the way, she says she's not talking to you anymore...

...oh that's right, Euro's do not have body hair;)

Don't be jealous my friend. At least you are a living proof Darwin was right!

Hey, I emailed you a link to a phone that was Skype capable. Never heard back so I'm not sure if I have your correct email address. Let me know?

I am sure some kid is salivating and thinking.... so I could fly a Jetstream!!!!!! Awesome, and they are going to pay me $5k to do it........

Current and qualified in the JS.... now that is funny.

Um...has anyone read the updated RegionsAir website at http://www.regionsair.com/? What the heck is that all about?

Are there even any employees left that haven't found a new job?

Wow! Is that a joke? Is Berkut playing a cyper-prank on us? What the hell is the talk about 'brotherhood?' The 'let's roll' comment once again shows Symrna White Trash bad taste and is totally disrespectful to the real aviation heroes of 9/11.:puke:

I was only kidding about the Spanish comment.... but Regions Air wasn't... it is literally on the website:

Oops, sorry dude. Akeem’s vile “back-hair” comment sent me into a severe depression. I mean first he calls my lady fat, then he makes fun of my euro back hair! So needless to say, while I was being treated with prozac I totally forgot to reply to you.

But I digress – Today I jumpseated on Delta and then on ASA and ran into a former Rejex’er (who’s a current Citrus’er) who told me some great news about ya!

So I must ask, is it still FlyFastLiveSlow or is it Captain FlyFastLiveSlow now?
See Carola (TBN) was right – Good things do happen to good people!

CONGRATS my brother from another mother!!! :)

Personally, I think your Euro back hair adds character. Prozac, huh? Got any left?

Thanks. Still gotta get past the ex-EAL guys in the puzzle palace though. And I keep hearing something about captain dingdong from SG. Don't even ask, you don't wanna know. I'll just say it involves a failed doorbell repair.

Who was the ex-rejexer? I miss Carola. She was fun.

Hey on the photo thing....if I correlate a caption to a picture file number, will that work??????

Hawaiimei-your avatar, is it a Waco (tough to tell on the small pic)? Which Model???

Hey FFLS, Congrats! That was pretty quick!
