...understand even the weekend overnights suck now!

There are ways to alleviate the situation. Take Crew meals for instance: if you sweet talk the catering lady, she'll give you like 10 meals and that is almost a party right there!

A quick stop at the gas station for some aluminum encapsulated tranquilizers and you have it made!

The cleaning service ladies are another resource. They have a veritable library of reading material to select from, generally. Caution: in West Virginia, you may come across more "familiy oriented" magazines

Management-Union Negotiations

Good Luck Teamsters, Regions pilots are counting on you!

I was in Evansville today and asked the controller if you guys still come in there. He said no. What happened?

the poeple that know (and that's not many when you take away all the a$$ wipes on flight info), know that the regionsair pilot contract is a very important deal that this industry will be watching. it will set a precident, not for pay and equipment, but for how contract deals are done and for how the lowering of the bar will be stopped. regionsair is the size that many 2000+ pilot regionsals were only a decade ago. people that know, know how this business turns over and over. go ahead, flame away, but ask your MEC's (especially ones on the teamsters board) first.

We can't put this puppy to sleep just yet...

Integration would be a better position for the pilots of Regions. With integration, they will move up the seniority list and get paid accordingly (see BuKu PayRaises for All) Since Regions has some pretty senior captains, they'd probably transition immediately to the CRJ-900s. CHA-CHING!!!

Yeh, but I think the forecast is calling for monkey's flying out of my butt waaaay before something happens at this place..

Tram,

Just call the DO and he will assure you that everything is allright. Give him your home address so he can FedEx you a couple packages of free RegionsAir Brand Kool-aid. Just drink it and don't ask any questions.
