So we pretty much survive on a day to day basis on peanuts and rumors.

Don't worry. The J-pig guys are day to day too. Always have been! Way before the SF34's came along. ASk belch, Jan 05 late 04 we were all wondering if we were going to have jobs.

What corpex needs is a Moses to lead all the good folks there out of bondage, not a line pilot pressed into a desk job that has no authority to go with the responsibility!

Best of luck to the new CP, he more than has his hands full if the company can stay solvent

The biggest news is... MQY is now just a MX base only
I'll be surprised if it's even an MX base for much longer.

I guess the glider fleet will still need to be reassembled, though. There were five engineless Jetstreams sitting at MQY last time I was down there a couple of weeks ago.

Huh???

They displaced all (er, 12?) of the BNA Jetpig drivers to STL??? Oh yeah, I remember hearing the collective scream early one morning!

I bet that went over like a turd in a punchbowl! Is Cupcake as P.O.'d as last time? Company boy gone mad...it was kind of funny when he finally saw the light and realized it was the headlamp of an oncoming train!!! He even started cursing and slaming down the dungeon phone like the rest of us. Couldn't get him to smoke and drink heavily though-but that may have changed by now!

So, if the STL-BNA stuff is still running and MQY is still a mx base are you getting fatigued in BNA and refusing the part 91 tail end ferry? Has the shop in UNI started up?...Oh boy, pretty soon you will be picking up airplanes out of the hanger again...after a short overnight...in the cold and dark...

My regards...you deserve better!

Where would I be without Flight Info? This is the most I've learned about the changes the company has made in...well, ever. So from what I gather, MQY is only mx, BNA-STL is no more, and they are putting more FOs through the Saab side when they can't fly the Saab crews enough as it is. Makes sense to me.

Actually, I hear we're going back to the BNA-STL sometime this month... No idea if it'll happen..

belch - nah, they didn't move all of us up.. After "realizing" that they were.. "wasting resources" with our current setup, they decided they needed to keep 2 crews in MQY for repo flights... only.. 4 on 3 off reserve line... with flying that goes like this..

0500 show... 0600 departure.. 0645 arrival in OWB.. at the OWB hotel by 0730.. sit until 0135 when you will accept the plane from the OWB overnighters, fly it back to MQY.. go home.. wash, rinse, repeat...

So.. we're talking.. a 4 on 3 off line with a value of.. oh, 1.6 a day...

Of course, this is in an effort to prevent wasting of resources.. :)

What I really don't understand is how we go from having 6 lines in BNA which consisted of 4 - 3on4off and 2 - 4on3off and having like 4 - 3on4off lines in STl.. to combining the two and having only 2 3day lines in the whole company and a plethora of 4on 3 off and even some niiiiiccceeeeeee 5 on 2 off hardlines...

Tram, I thought the JS side of the business was supposed to be running like clockwork. Is it that much out of whack on your side of the business too?

Yeh Doug, same people, same blah blah blah, each time.. Yet none of them will ever tell you who they really are, when they worked here, etc..

It's nice to see people with such large testicles chose to remain nameless.. :D

Time to pull back the curtain and see who ContractFlyer is...OH! It's one of our former male flight attendants.
